But of course, just like Jacob or Moses, xtians commonly name their kids Tiger too.

Ah wait is this some kind of ignorant fucking american thing again? In united states of kingdom the phrase "christian name" means the first name in your collection, like the one that comes before your middle names and last name or surname or whatever you wanna call it. It doesn't mean you feature in the bible or any shit like that.
Maybe its an "ignorant fucking scottish thing", Im not american and as far as i know its a first name.

I've heard the term several times before and understood what he meant. I don't hear it used commonly, but I've heard it enough/seen enough to know what it meant. That and even if I didn't, it doesn't seem that hard to figure out from the context.

But, meh, is it really worth arguing about? What we SHOULD be concerned about is whether Tiger's wife is going to take him back.
There's no sun shine coming through her ass, if you are sure of your penis.

Paranoia is a disease unto itself, and may I add, the person standing next to you, may not be who they appear to be, so take precaution.

If there is no order in your sexual life it may be difficult to stay with a whole skin.

It's just a somewhat antiquated way of saying first name or given name.  It distinguishes the parts of your full name, your first from your last, or family name.

As for TW and his family, this is why I'd never ever want to be famous or "known and noted."  Dirty laundry is hard to keep off the public line.

I couldn't determine a context from which to figure it. It was a word-string that I kept looking at and couldn't make sense of. You know, it happens sometimes.

QuoteI only care about the christian name and for that reason I'd like him dead.

This is a good example of why, if you remove the idea that God is benevolent, the bible makes sense.

The Judas Gnostic's version of YHVH as a dumb, brutish demon makes a lot of sense.

Especially when you consider he made a lot of dumb, brutish demons.  I guess he's a self-absorbed narcissist as well.

We make better ones.  Demons?  We got demons.  Work demons, TV demons, late charge demons, rush hour demons, hell, I could go on for days.  So the real genius is that God made demons that design their own punishments, and will fight to the death to keep them.

It occurs to me that our real world makes 40K fluff look downright cheerful.  At least there, you can shoot the demons with a bolter.  Here, you just pretend everything is okay, while you get buggered by demons of your own devising.

Our gods are the only demons we need. Wrathful, vengeful, buck-passing, mental opt-outs. With creators like that who needs antichrists?
