Well, not really.  But in last night's episode it featured Charlie Sheen's character dating this self-help guru who had written a book for men about relationships.

Anyway, when Charlie is talking to his brother he quotes her self-help book and the lines are eerily similar to ones we've come up with, or discussed here.  Namely these three:

"We're all living inside prison cells."
"We aren't just the prisoners, we are the wardens"
"We hold the key to our own freedom"

But, worry not, there was no actual serious discussion of these ideas, as the show devolved into its usual series of gags about sex.  But, it did make my ears perk up.   :D

The notes at the end that you must pause to read are sometimes quite intriguing.

Dunno if Lorre is still doing what he used to in those, but during Dharma and Greg they had a wonderful documentation of him/his fictional alter ego rapidly going nuts from studying Buddhism, really good read.  It wouldn't be surprising if a lot of our same ideas are running through him at this point.

That said, the stuff on the self help book seemed to be the exact opposite of what the BIP is about, with Charlie playing the cabbage and lapping up the ideas the woman spouts without really thinking about them.

Yeah it's obvious the charachter really wasn't paying any attention to what she was saying in any meaningful way.  I just thought it was neat to hear some BIP-ish phrases on the teevee.
