If I can listen to Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's Restaurant Massacree," I can listen to this.

Advice puppy, what should I ask you next?

And cheers, Cainad-- and, pray tell: what, if any, is your relationship to Cain? It's a question I've been pondering on.

Joy. So that would put me about on a level with the rest of you guys?
This exchange alone makes me like Cal.
Welcome, and stuff.

The ipod breaking isn't random, it's because Apple makes pieces of shit so you will have to buy a new one every six months.

okay so the website is the current barrier? i'll get on it! i have the basics/infrastructure done already, really all that is left is some cool graphics design.
so if anyone's got some inspiration for a nice logo, i'll work it into it, otherwise i'll get GIMPing tonight.
plusplusplus, I will provide "Tripzip's Pineal Time", which will be something like 30-45 minutes of crazy wacked out hilariously insane happy electronic tunes with authentic dutch-accented DJ stupidity.
and, i dunno but, I'm going to pre-record most of that, so it can be played multiple times, because i don't really feel like investing all that effort into something that will be listened just once by 3-5 listeners. MS are you planning on saving some archives and best-off stuff to provide re-runs for when there is no live-DJ doing their thing?

I thought that was the point.

What the fuck kind of metaphor is "parapet of change"?

Once more, we find ourselves on the parapet of change. No more then a few short months, Americans will be voting for the chance to elect either an African American that actually seems to be spouting sound ideas, or yet another white man that see Bush's current approval rating as a good enough excuse to continue the crap. As an American, all I can say is...whatever.
Um.
What does skin color have to do with it?

No arguments just yet, only questions.
So, US is last among 1st world countries.
How do we rank against developing counrtries, and against the US 50 years ago?
How does the US compare with 1st world countries 50 years ago, while we're at it?
I don't know about 50 years ago, but currently we're at #28 globally. The US has been dead last among first world countries, and we had a very dramatic increase in infant and maternal mortality, at the time when most states passed laws against midwifery in order to foster the newly-developed medical branch called "obstetrics".
