We've got artists, scientists, scholars, pranksters, publishers, songwriters, and political activists.  We've subjected Discordia to scrutiny, torn it apart, and put it back together. We've written songs about it, we've got a stack of essays, and, to refer back to your quote above, we criticize the hell out of each other.

This place I've visted many times before,
I'm walking in,
when I should be walking out that door.
Eternity stretched below me in your smile;
what you want, yes you'll be given,
cause you know I'll always give in.

This door I should be walking out,
I don't know what this confusion is about.
I know whats best and I'll find a way,
but you know I have to say,
that every part of you finds a way to fill me, eventually.
So I just can't go.

Even if it's whats best for me,
I don't know how to make you see,
that sometimes things just fall apart,
and we're not meant to push this hard.

This door I've been walking in,
to this room far away from him.
Has been open for longer then I knew.
But, when it's open it's scary 'cause,
it's like an ocean in front of me
All vast and empty
waiting for someone to fill it with what he was.

This door I should be walking out
I now know what this confusion is about.
I know whats best and I'll find a way,
but you know I have to say,
that every part of you finds a way to fill me, eventually.
But I just have to go.
Resistance is Fertile.

Always acknowledge a fault. This will throw those in authority off their guard and give you an opportunity to commit more.

I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him.

Some yahoo yelled at me, saying 'GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH', and I thought, "I'm feeling generous today.  Why not BOTH?"

You know, i'm starting to think that the reason alot of people don't like poetry is because they try to read it like prose.

Of course it makes no fucking sense that way, just as if you tried to read a paragraph by looking at each word through a microscope.  A chainsaw's a woefully inadequate tool for slicing a cake, but it rocks for cutting down trees.
