Title: "Are things okay in The Wasteland?"
Post by: The Good Reverend Roger on November 11, 2009, 03:56:47 pm
Jabbered here to avoid spagging Suu's thread up any further.

I think I've spend a little too much time down the rabbit hole.  It's strange down here, and it's full of Hideous Truths™ that, in retrospect, I didn't really need to know.  The problem with this is that I have become, apparently, a very unlikeable person.  Outside of my immediate family, I have maybe ten people that can stand my presence, and half of them are crazy or damaged in some way.

Looking back, I was probably better off making my money in Wrongfun ways, hanging out with whores and hustlers and the very dregs of society.  At least I had someone to talk to, people that understood me.  My people, as it were.  They were shitheads, but they were there when I needed them, instead of merely expecting me to be there for them.

But the kids moved into state, and I had to become respectable, for their sake.  I have to deal with teachers and college reps and a neighborhood that is full of a better class of scum.  And as much fun as it is to tear into those people, I do kind of miss having more than a couple of people around me that like me.

As the man said, I can't take any more bad water, I've been poisoned from my head down to my shoes.  Poisoned by exposure to Calvinists, exposure to the horrible fucks that live behind me, exposure to people who want to hear me rant, but don't particularly like to have me around otherwise.  Exposure to people that want Roger on demand, who value my advice but not me, if you get what I'm saying.

Of course, I am certain that this is mostly me.  I have been told, for example, that I am a very difficult person to live with, and people who are at first excited to hang out with me - or even talk with me - soon avoid me like the plague.  I'm not sure what to do about that, because the day I become someone else for any reason, even for basic human contact, is the day I eat my fucking gun.  And that ain't happening...I'm not done with you fucking primates yet.

So, no, things are not okay in the wastelands.  Things are actually pretty fucking miserable.  But they make pills for that, I have found, and the pills do okay.  But I miss all the lowlifes I used to know, back when I knew how to Rock N Roll, back when the Lost Highway looked cool, when I was walking with The King.  Maybe I need to get back to that, and stop relying on people who don't actually view me as a person.

Something has to be done.  I refuse to live like this.  I refuse to be a crying towel one day, and an unwanted annoyance the next.  I refuse to be nothing more than entertainment on demand.  If that's how people view me, then I shall remove the annoyance from those particular people.  I am nothing if not considerate.

Let me be clear that I'm not bitching about "respect", here, or "my due", or any bullshit like that.  I'm bitching that I have been reduced to an On-Demand presentation, or a monster, or some horrible thing that is best viewed from a distance...Ho ho!  Look at the funny misanthrope and his funny pills and funny stories and okay, great, that's over, let's watch something else now.  I have, it seems, an off button.  My old associates were the scum of the Earth, really awful people in some cases, but they never aimed a remote at me when the funny ranting man ran out of rants for 10 seconds.

Something has to be done.

Or kill me.

First of all, if anyone requests you "On Demand", make sure you get paid, damnit. If someone only wants you around with it's convenient for their entertainment needs, may as well make a buck.

Also, MOVE TO THE NORTHEAST. There's enough vile hate here to keep you busy for a while. Except for in Vermont, but heck, maybe that state will make me a better person, who knows? Maybe I'll start a revolution and turn Vermont upside down...but then it would just be New Hampshire.

Anyways, I'd say, fuck all. Don't give these people the time of your day. Turn the tides. Make them come to you instead of you going to them.

Well, damn.  Normally, I would prescribe cactus, handguns, and a few days in the Badlands, but it looks like you can't take any more poisons right now.

What the hell can you do, anyway?  Even clearing the carbon out of your brain pipes only lasts for so long.  You go outside the rules, breathe deeply for a few seconds, and then you're back into the thick of it, because there are people who need you to fit some semblance of the verb "to behave".

I remember what happened to Cool Hand Luke... and to Bartleby.  They say there are some horses you can't break, but you can always take them behing the barn with a 30.06.

Also, going back to my people.

I think what happened is that I forgot about Cool Hand Luke, because I was too busy worrying about Curly, so to speak.  That was a mistake.  Curly was a sap and a fool and a rube, and he deserved everything he got.  I tried to be something I'm not, and I should probably learn from the experience.

No, they're a bunch of saps up there.  Even my family.  ESPECIALLY my family (The Terrible Old Man excepted).

No, I'm just talking about the South End, where you always know the deal.

I feel like I should say something Rog, but I don't know what to say.

Something along the lines of, I know we haven't always gotten along, I know you can be a very big arsehole sometimes, and I don't always agree with you.

But I respect you. And I do, in some fucked up way, look up to you.
I don't know why, but I do.

You've taught me a lot, you've showed me a side of humanity that both confused and enlightened me.

You're a real one of a kind, and you make things that much more interesting, in a way that no one else can do.

I suppose, the thing that sort of comes to mind is, "You're not wanted, but god fucking damn it, you're needed, neigh, you're TOO FUCKING GOOD for most people out there, and they don't realise it til it's too fucking late, or they never realise it at all, and if they don't, they will forever be more lost then an Alzheimers patient in a funhouse full of mirrors and politicians".

In other words, YOU'RE TOO FUCKING REAL FOR MOST OF THE WORLD TO GET OR APPRECIATE.

I don't know where I'm really going with this, but I hope it means something to you.

If not, then whatever. I tried, and you know what happens when I try

That's the problem, Lys, you've hit it right on the head.  I no longer have any interest in addressing the needs of people who don't want me, if you catch my drift.

I have maybe ten people that can stand my presence, and half of them are crazy or damaged in some way.

There's something that's been told to me on various occasions throughout my life by learned men that I respect:(slightly paraphrased)
When you get to an old age, and you can count the amount of friends you have, real, true, honest to god friends that you can RELY on, on more then one hand, consider yourself LUCKY.

From the sounds of it Rog, you should consider yourself LUCKY.

I like your example of folks who want a crying rag, then nothing else to do with you, Roger.  Those folks are just faces to me, work, home, or street, and should only get a by - the - book, "It's someone else's problem to fix" answer.  Not to say I only help out or act charitable to folks who can reciprocate, I just refuse to waste resources on folks who wouldn't even if they could.  They're just pits for emotion, resource, or time, so far as I can tell.

Y'know, if you look at it one way, giving people what they need but don't want is one step closer to martyrdom; and really, fuck that.

On the other hand, FUCKING JAMMING WHAT PEOPLE NEED DOWN THEIR FUCKING THROATS, WHETHER THEY WANT IT OR NOT can be considered to be Fun, for a certain value of "fun".

Yep.  I think I'm going to erase half of my phone settings, change my hangouts, and start all over again.  Find a new crowd, new people to talk to.

Some of those few friends of mine are broke as fuck.  I have zero problem occasionally throwing some tobacco or booze or chow their way, because they are even happy to see me when I don't do those things.  I honestly like them, and I only worry that they may feel embarrassed when I do those things.  They shouldn't.  I ENJOY doing nice things for my friends, it gives me a level of gratification that ALMOST offsets the letdown I get from others who act as you describe.

You know, forgive what I'm about to say, but Rog..

you sound like someone who would fit right in and make friends easily in Florida.

Now, now, I know what you're thinking. "How dare you say such a horrible thing you insufferable woman!" but believe it or not there are actually some quite interesting people here hidden within the pool of stupid and ignorance.
We could use a few more gems.

S'all I'm sayin.

FUCK those people.  You don't need them and if they need you well then they should have fucking thought of that before they fucked it all up.  Screw them and the horse they rode in on.

We all try so hard to be what everyone wants, present the correct face, associate with the right people, live in the chosen neighborhood, drive the preferred car....  because we want to be accepted, have friends, that human contact that is really needed but when we have it with those who don't want or appreciate us, it gets all fucked up.

FUCK ALL THAT!

I'm a bitch.  My kids warn their friends ahead of time.  I only associate with people who I genuinely like and respect.  Everyone else can pretty much kiss my ass.

I'm not saying I don't put on my perfect mother mask when it comes to the kids, I do that to make THEIR lives easier not mine.

Choose your aquaintances by whatever criteria you wish, choose your friends by trust and respect.

I can really identify with  some of your rant.  For me personally, I think the solution is to go out and hit the road soon.
I need some adventure in my life.  I need to remember what it's like to have FUN.  I need to breathe some clean uncontaminated air.

Last night I stopped my car on my way home from work, just off the interstate, and I just started walking.   I don't know why.  It just seemed like the thing to do at the time.  I ended up encountering a homeless traveler out walking himself.  His name was Bill.  Said he's been traveling the "routes" for 36 years, showed me where all the other homeless travelers can be found in this area, we smoked, found a place to pitch tent, fired up a can full of isopropyl alcohol 91% to warm up his tent, he showed me a few other survival tricks, and we just told stories for hours.  At the end of the night, we parted as friends, and I know we'll meet again.  I got the vibe.

Bill told me he wouldn't live his life any other way.  He told society and the social rules and superficial games to fuck off decades ago.  Winters are cold when he's stuck up north for too long, but other than that, he gets by on karma and sheer guts.

Maybe Bill's full of shit.  I'm sure there are plenty of days he wishes for some of the comforts I enjoy.  But just as I torment over and fantasize about leaving this godforsaken stale shitpile of a society, I imagine Bill deals with his own demons, the ones that tell him to come back over to the "socially acceptable" side.  I don't think it matters what you do, but whatever it is that's compelling you, whatever is hungry inside you, I feel like you gotta go out and FEED it.

Especially you.

You're too damn old and wise to be fucking around with your time.  Fuck any worthless shitbag that wastes your time, and fuck anyone that treats you like an evening sitcom.  You'll figure out what you need to do, and when the deed has got doing, just you remember who it was that saw you through.

You know what pisses me off? You talk about the miserable bits of reality... focus on the Wasteland and the flunkies and monkeys and the shit and the hate...

Now you say "Why am I covered in shit and hate and why don't people like to be around me?"

If you LIKE being TGRR the Angry Rain God of Shit and Hate, then be that... but Like it... Really Like It... LIKE THE FUCK OUT OF IT. If you don't like people avoiding you, if you don't like dealing in the shithate, THEN STOP. Claiming that's who you are and you can't change is a Whiny Bullshit Excuse that one expects from a Pink, not from a fucking Rain God. If you can't change you, then what the fuck are any of us doing? We all might as well have a lead lunch and end it now.

If things aren't ok in the Wasteland... leave the fucking Wasteland. You're not stuck there... you aren't forced by anyone to be TGRR... and if people say "Oh we need your hateshit..." FUCK THEM. If they can't shit their own hate, you can't do it for them. The value of shitting hate, as you taught me... is that it gets it OUT of the person doing the shitting. The fools that want to vicariously shit hate through you are nothing more than stool parasites. There's nothing wrong with being the God of Shitting Your Hate, if that is what you want to be then embrace it. If its isn't what you want... THEN STOP!

Eris and Dobbs don't need martyrs, that other asshole deity has the market cornered. They need Angry Rain Gods, or at the very least TGRR's... however HE chooses to interact with this poor excuse for reality.

I don't think that's what this is really about.  The rant didn't convey to me the attitude of "why me?" or "why this?"

For me, it felt more like "FUCK this".

Which, although often "fuck this" comes out at the worst times, what happens after arriving at that point is sometimes profoundly fucking beautiful.

And yes, your comments on Magic, ritual etc are spouting off... Have you experimented with it? Have you done any study? Have you experienced it?

If not, then you speak from a position of ignorance... AKA SPOUTING OFF.

Fuck magic, Rat. Have you done everything in your life that Roger has done? Do you have any opinions on it? On drug running or thuggery or parenting or law enforcement or Big Oil? Maybe what you need to do is stop being so fucking oversensitive about magic and realize that it's just one little thing that you like and some people don't, like tinned fish or cheeseburgers. Fuck it. It's NOT FUCKING IMPORTANT. It's certainly not important enough to try to cram down people's throats and alienate them over.

Thanks, Dr Phil.  Given what you pulled in the other thread, I'm afraid I didn't bother reading the rest.  It was probably just "spouting off", anyway, right?

TGRR,
Is taking some advice, and not making time for assholes.

What? What did I pull in the other thread?

Other than deliberately misquoting me, then implying that because I disagree with you, I was only "spouting off"?

Nothing.

Holy fuck I forgot about your delicate sensibilities. I thought it was fuckin' obvious that I was intentionally misquoting you since your post was like two comments back... I meant it to be funny.

Nigel, I think, if you look at the thread in question... that no one was cramming magic down anyone's throat... but Roger decided to post and ram "its all bullshit" down everyone's throat.

I haven't had TGRR's experiences... and so I wouldn't say if they were real, not real, good or bad. what the fuck?

I don't require TGRR to believe or not believe anything... but I don't think that means I got to sit by let him shit on a thread and not comment on the topic. I made a comment that was MEANT to be funny... TGRR said that 'sigils were like circles and tarot'... he meant they were all bullshit. I quote that bit because I meant they were all psychological. I MEANT IT TO BE FUNNY.

TGRR, since you were offended, I would like to apologize. I did not intend for ANYONE to believe that you endorsed magic. I thought the comment was obvious, apparently I was wrong... I certainly didn't mean to piss you off.

Roger, I can hardy speak from a position of authority when it comes to getting out of the rabbit hole. Nonetheless, as someone with a great deal of experience down there, I'm going to give you my opinion.

You have been going through some SHIT. Some major life changes. Divorce, heart attacks, full-time custody of your kids, and remembering a horrific incident that left you with PTSD are not minor life adjustments; each of them is a huge fucking deal. You did what you had to do, and at the same time, inside, you went a little insane. Or a lot insane.

Dealing with this kind of stress (and mind you, it is stress... some of the biggest stress people have to handle) tends to make people a little difficult to deal with. By which I mean, virtually intolerable to almost any sane person. My therapist, years ago, advised me that dealing with my PTSD would probably result in divorce, because it apparently causes such major personality shifts that relationships rarely survive. She was right.

You have multiple, massive stresses that you are dealing with all at once. At first, like any normal human being, you dealt with it by pretending everything was OK. That works for a while, but eventually you have to go into it to deal with it... down the rabbit hole... and you essentially lose your fucking mind. For a while. Sometimes for years. You lose your mind, you alienate people, sometimes people who love you deeply can't fucking deal with you because it's making  them lose their minds as well. It's too deep down there, and too dark, and other people can't go with you. But you can't just turn around and come back out, because you have to fill in that hole. The only way to fill it in is to go all the way down and look at everything that made the hole in the first place, and go crazy and look at the crazy, live it, be in it until it stops making you crazy. And eventually it does stop, and the hole gets a little shallower just my that increment, by the measure of that one memory that your mind no longer shies from.

And you gain compassion for yourself, for your past self and your present self and even for the crazy self that alienates your friends. And incrementally, you become less crazy, and your rabbit hole becomes shallower, and you emerge out of it slowly, shaking your head, blinking, and you find a new normal that is not the normal you used to be. It's better. Weirder, maybe, and stronger, wiser, and more compassionate not only toward those around you, but more importantly, toward yourself.

So the fuck what if Roger thinks it's bullshit. How is that ramming anything down anyone's throat? He thinks Libertarianism and Anarchy are bullshit too. So the fuck what.

Roger,
We appreciate everything you do for us and we try to pay you back in the biggest of ways we can muster. You come over and swill coffee with us, bring us the latest news of the day or week depending on when you've come over. We really do enjoy your presence as a person not just a sitcom. We LIKE having you meet all our friends because your fucking awesome. AWESOME. One day the tables will turn and we'll be able to do more nice things that you have done for us. We all like you for you, not just your funny stories. Goddamn, I sound like some kids show telling you to be you and if they don't like it well dammit they can all fuck off for the sake of fucking off. Those assholes that can't deal with you as a person aren't really people, they are just shells of people who let themselves die on the inside because they weren't strong enough to stand out and be what they really wanted to be. Keep in mind that your just living out life as you see fit, with minor lumps that come up of course, but dammit, Roger, you're fucking awesome.

Now knowing roger he'll probably hit me for hugging him, but, y'know, that's ok too.

To be perfectly fair, there are plenty of people here who seem to treat Magick the same way Rat does.  To imply he's on the wrong board wouldn't be entirely true.

It seems the main problem here was that he used TGRR's words out of context (sarcastically) to support his viewpoint, NOT that he shouldn't talk about Magic.

Hmm... I feel slightly dirty now.

Hey, Reverend. When I first joined up on this forum, you were the first guy to respond to my intro thread. My first couple conversations with you, whether we agreed or not, were what made me decide that this was a place I could belong, where I could talk about shit I was interested in or rant my guts up and not have people treat me like a freak.

So, you are needed man. Don't let yourself forget that. And if people don't give you the respect you deserve, then follow the general consensus here. FUCK THEM. They don't deserve a Rain God.

You can count on people here, at least. You've got friends here.

They may think they can treat you like The Horrible Cranky Misanthrope show, but what they forget is that you're not. You're flesh and blood and there is no plate of glass or plastic separating you from them. The foolish ones, the false friends, forget that your words are not written by a scriptwriter in the back room.

Let them think they can turn off the Truth, the Hateshit, just by avoiding you. When the barbarians are at the gates, they'll get theirs and realize, "Wait, he was actually trying to tell us something, wasn't he?"

Same fucking thing with talking about magic here. Why not go to a Satanist board and start talking Jesus? Why not go to GLP and start talking Liberalism? Oh wait, that would be trolling? Well, guess what, dumbfuck.

I think the fact that he dragged his shit from that thread into this one also implies he was in the wrong.

Alright, let's see if I can type this without making a horrible fool of myself or sounding like a new-age hippie.

Roger, I respect you. I respect you for what you write and who you are. If people don't like you for who you are and what you say, then  fuck 'em. Not literally though, they probably have all sorts of nasty diseases. Spend your time with those who value you for who you really are, who like you even without your mask. When it comes down to it, those are the people that matter.

hey roger -
i think the problem is that they need you.  it's not your fault you are one of the great ones but you are.  you've probably tried to teach them how to not need you but they are stupid and unable to learn.  you are helpful in some way and now they depend on you.  unforunately, in - as you put it - the wasteland - the great ones are few and far between, so this a)overtaps your resources and b)leaves you few great ones to depend on yourself.

with that said - i would recommend (i know, i know - i'm a fucking broken record) hopping on your ducati and going very far.  ride that thing until your ass hurts so much you don't know if you'll ever be able to make it home.  (i must admit i'm jealous of your climate - it's already way to cold to ride my bike any real distance 'round here)

also, getting back to them - the only way they will learn to cope without you is for you to not be there.  i'll just pass on that there's a camp for sale about a mile down my road - i believe it's on 20 acres - for $60k - there's electricity but no phone or water.  you could put a well in for a few grand - but there you could be a hermit.  see people if you want - or don't.  the people around here aren't like those in the wasteland.  there's only 2 types of people around here - people that hunt and fish and talk non-stop about hunting and fishing.  and then there's the crazies who figured out they can't stand most people and opted for a life more solitary.  there's an abundance of great ones around here.

good luck.  and remember, it's not your fault.

Or kill me.

No, no no, good sir.  For now SCIENCE has made you BETTER, and SCIENCE leads the way.

Your patients, because let's face it, at this time in our lives everyone is a patient for one reason or another; your patients think they know what they need, and demand as much from their good Doktor.

Ah, but you are the Doktor, nein?

So:  And so:  You must examine, diagnose, proscribe, and then TREAT THE FUCK OUT OF THESE MOTHERFUCKERS.

They simply will not get better, otherwise.

I never read this thread the first time round.

All I gots to say is that I like having Roger around the forum and in IRC. It is a deep pain to me when he is not here (or there. (In IRC).)

And yes, it's partly because he is necessary. But I want him around too.

Herr Doktor: Thank you for all you do.

No no no. I get it man, I really do.

I got a friend down in Edinburgh. Fuckin' solid guy, does anything for his friends and I mean ANYTHING. Yet no one comes over and shares in his magnanimity. And every time I'm down there, he gets depressed cause I'm the only guy who comes and visits on a regular basis. I have to take a god damn train down to see him and chill out for a while, where all these fuckers, these so called "Friends" never come over unless they need him for something.

Fuck that, I visit him cause I want to and cause he wants me to and because we have fun.

I'm going down on Thursday for a couple weeks. On Friday I guarantee he and I will be drunk, trolling artists, art exhibitors and art collectors.

Yeah, well, instead I'm gonna hang out with perverts (Cram was right, by the way), and the "friends" that dumped me when I was ill can find someone else to rant for them/stick up for them/give a fuck about their existence.

And I have The Pink Glove™ for the freaks I have to live around.  It's no more than they deserve.

A surprising number of people.  While in some cases I am still on polite terms with individuals, I certainly won't be going out on a limb for them ever again.

There's nothing quite like having "friends" blatantly disown you.

I am in fact better off with the boys from Grant Road.

I think they must've done you a favor, then.  Because the sooner you dump the ballast that weighs you down in life, the better.  Life's too short, Man.  Dead weight must be heaved overboard.

Also, what Kai said about your phone calls goes triply for me.  I suck at catching your calls because of my failphoneservice, but otherwise, they're the highlight of my week when I do.

Thanks.  Just about of the individuals I'm talking about are local.  In fact, most of the original monster-ass Cabal.  Out of the entire crowd, only Nurse Mayhem's crew and one or two others will still associate with me.

The rest have decided that I'm too unstable or scary or some shit like that, even though most of them haven't seen me since before I was ill.  It became fashionable.  One or two have been particularly malicious about it, both in their actions towards me and in the gossip sense.

The worst part is, before Nurse Mayhem and Maria said anything about it, I thought the paranoia was coming back, know what I mean?  Fortunately, I'm not the only one seeing it, and those two said something about it before I mentioned the problem.

Maybe I need some more info, but from what I got from Freeky's post, the boys from Grant Road seem like some gay boys who won't let much stop them from having a good time.  They figured out who they were, saw that the world around them wasn't like that, and said, "fuck it.  Let's go."

Sounds to me like some of the people I've met in Provincetown during the Halloween Bear Fest.  In a way, some of the most Honest and Real people I've ever met.  Funny as hell, too.  These fags have looked both death and derision straight in the eye, and then poked it.

You've perfectly described people I know, who I mean only respect to when I dub them "Glorious Faggot".
(Ex: Nate the Great.  Former bicycle messenger, quick wit, and the only person I've met who could keep up with my old espresso habit.)

I've met examples of all persuasions, once I clued it it.  They were just some of the first I noticed it in.  They're comfortable in their own skin.  Hell, they're beyond comfortable, they're having a REALLY good time just being THEM.  Hillarious manic enthusiasm for any oportunity whn "I can be ME with STYLE."  Near as I can figure, this is how to do it RIGHT.

Yo Rog,
I don't know you but my asshole wanted to let you know that being so close to your demon is a divine place that few can ever occupy. Sure, it drags in the chaos, but after all that's what you live for. Who wants an entourage of people who "understand"?  Who wants to simply be "understood"? A few close companions are invaluable in this life, especially when you have a magnetic personality that allures shit rags and knowers alike.  Don't take yourself too seriously, because both the rabbit hole and the wasteland are the most depressing and hilarious joke we can ever know.  Swing dance with your demon.
My anti-social "disorder" also suffocates me with a crowd of soulless shells who chip off little pieces of me in hopes that they can feel alive.  I know the alienation and Its definitely maddening. I felt like I was listening to myself when reading your post.  I agree with everyone else of course, FUCK those people, but also continue to have fun with them. They're mere pennies to be gambled and why not piss off or confuse some of them?  Your will is strong, so strong that it's magnetic. The bitches will always sniff you out and start chipping no matter where you hide.  We all need escapes and I've found that the pursuit of wisdom is a reliable sanctuary. I'm young still trying to figure out what the hell is going on, and I don't doubt that will change. But I have figured out that I love sounds and I want to dedicate my pathetic existence to understanding the phenomena and physics of wave spectra.  Maybe there is something like that for you that you can cling to when the social world boxes you in and presses their cowardly faces against the glass.  Throw your poop at those people.
Some of you may know, I was brainwashed by the Jehovahs for most of my childhood, so I apologize for my preachy style of writing.  I'm definitely not trying to school ya.
hang in there homie. Knowing is hard.

Bear in mind that the people I was talking about here were Kim and Von Melee.   :lulz:

Yep.  It got to the point where Von Melee would go to the doctor with made up complaints, so that DES would give him more barbituates, etc, that he'd cheerfully hand over to Kim, who basically lobotomized herself with.

I don't miss either one of them, but I do miss who she used to be.

Well, okay.  Haul the windshield out and replace it with window screen.

I've got a perforated plate I'll be using for that.  Herbert will man the gun, and make sure the neighborhood is greased back as much as physics will allow.  Shame he lost the mohawk.  Nurse East is going to chainsmoke and cackle from the back seat.

Bear in mind that the people I was talking about here were Kim and Von Melee.   :lulz:

Dok,
Sucker.

Naw, Kim just changed, and you didn't know at the time the extent of Marcus's nastiness.
