Yeah, I thought about wrapping each PDF with the TXT into a separate ZIP file, or maybe copypasting the content of the TXT file into the description field on the resource page. Or maybe both, we will see.

Thanks, I've updated it inside the ZIP file (if the could provider doesn't betray me, haven't double-checked...). Maybe I'm gonna upload the individual documents as well so people don't have to download the whole 135MB thing.

Great work! If I understood the included license correctly, I was allowed to mirror your work in the DisLib, right? If not so, just tell me and I will take it down again.

I like your logo.
Thank you. It isn't 100% done yet, though. Like the rest of the page. XD

I am super interested in this and will definitely use the link, provided that you can assure me that Reverend Loveshade is not affiliated with this project.
Currently, there are only two people (including myself) working on this thing, and as far as I know, none of them is any Loveshade.

We thought since it's still 5/23/17 in this time zone, it might be the right day to make this public, even though it isn’t 100% ready yet…

D.I.S.L.I.B. - the Discordian Internet Society's Library of Interesting Books

Quote
About the D.I.S.L.I.B.

The D.I.S.L.I.B. is the Discordian Internet Society’s Library of Interesting Books. Or maybe “DISLIB” is just short for Discordian Library. Who knows?

It is a collection of all kinds of stuff, may they be discordian, discordian-related or just interesting for chaotic scholars and followers of other silly cults. We hope that all the collected stuff we are offering is free. In case it isn’t, and especially if it is your un-free stuff we are offering *gulp* illegaly here, just tell us (as soon as the corresponding forms are ready), and we take it down.

As you might have guessed from the logo - a winged St. Gulik that has been shamelessly adapted to a pseudo-retro-egyptian style - we have been inspired by the ancient Library of Alexandria. Also, by the Bibliotheca Anonoma project, the Discordian Archives and the Discordian Online Library of the M'.'M'.'M'.', which also provided the base for our current stock.

Speaking of “we” all the time, you might wonder who we are. Maybe you don’t. We tell you anyway. Currently, there’s two of us: Abbot Ron Oxymo, head of the Ordo Dea Discordia and His Quasaric Sphericity the Bwana Honolulu, head of Zimmer523, the German Discordian AnArchive. But we are open for applications.

Also, submissions. Are you missing some important work? Maybe your own? Give us a hint (again, as soon as the corresponding forms are ready).

A lot of stuff is still missing from the list. We are working on that. And yes, there are other online libraries of free discordian books out there, we know. But redundancy might make sure this stuff won't disappear so quickly, and maybe we can kinda network those libraries. Also we noticed that other listings are very much english-centered, and so we try to cover more languages. There's already some german-language stuff online as well as portuguese writings in the queue.

You know what we do to people who build clocks at home, right?  This was widely broadcast in every media.
That's why there is a sticker inside the lid of my PirateBox labeled "NOT A BOMB".

:thumb: Wow, that's a great idea, I think I'm gonna use this kind of layout for my German stuff as well.

You could always upload it somewhere else (e.g. https://mega.nz/ ) and post the link.
Yeah, actually wanted to do that. Uhm. Later. :p
Now. Sorry, I totally forgot. :lulz:

Link opens up a full page ad I can't close.
 You surf without an ad blocker? Are you suicidal? :omg:
Sr(sl)y now, I haven't visited the forum without an ad blocker in ages because some of the ads were already too annoying, so I don't know how bad that might have become in the meantime. :ninja:

Over the last year over 50,000 deaths were attributable directly to surprise. Blackpool is little more than a corpse depot at this point and things are looking grim for other coastal towns in the UK.
They may be dead, but they won't age anymore, either. :thumb:

Also hi other guy or whatever.
Hi back to you from the other guy or whatever. ;-)

It seems that unintelligible and punny forum categories are mandatory for these types of forums.
Traditional rather than mandatory. But yes, indeed.

That's nice and all but I honestly couldn't find the translation projects.
I'm not even sure we have a forum for that already, but there is a namespace for ongoing translation projects in our Wiki. Now that I think about it, it's a namespace that is only visible to authorized members. I'm sure I can get you in if you like. ;-)

Thanks for the formatting help, though.
No problem.

You could always upload it somewhere else (e.g. https://mega.nz/ ) and post the link.

You're new to me, too. Maybe that's the secret to eternal youth?

And life is treating me OK. I'm procrastinating when I probably should be drawing a belated birthday card.

I'm not that new, I've just not been very active. ;-) Also, I guess some of the spags here might remember me from other occasions.

How about adding the forums of the oldest (somehow existing for about 20 years) and biggest (prove me wrong!) active (more or less) German (speaking) Discordian (Parenthesis) group, Aktion 23?

Also, the "Principia in German" on http://www.principia-discordia.de/ is dead and buried (and IMNSHO it wasn't a very good translation anyway  ).
