I imagine him sitting there staring at your profile, mumbling to himself, imagining he is talking to you. He's drawn a monocle and a moustache on the screen over your avatar, in an attempt to vent some frustration by vandalising your image... but it only serves to increase the rage at your considering yourself his superior. Look at this smarmy bastard...

The mouse and keyboard sit unused, but for the occasional movement to prevent the screensaver from obscuring the face of his nemesis.

I typed out the beginning of a reply where I quoted things you said that didn’t make any sense and started to explain why… and then I realised that you’re fucking retarded and would read it as “THE DISCORDIAN COMMUNITY” attacking you again. You almost write well enough to convince me otherwise… but, seriously? You found yourself on the wrong side of the fence because you didn’t read 300 replies? Bullshit. You found yourself on the wrong side of the fence because you came across as a pompous blowhard in response to people taking offence to your lack of respect in declaring a thread “tl;dr” and appearing to be attacking the quality of the content. Then you decided you’d argue with THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY about this and wonder why you feel like nobody there likes you? As soon as you realised the situation was an argument you started addressing “you guys” and “all of you”, “”this forum”.

I decided to take a look at Principia Discordia dot com today, and get to know them since they’ve taken some interest in the DSH site.

Swiftly, I found myself on the wrong side of the fence, because I didn’t scan over 300 replies to a thread, and immediately went to ask a question; assuming they were still on subject (like a lot of good threads do). They descended upon me like a horde of cats on a mouse.
Knowing I did nothing wrong, I defended myself. A thread of my own was defaced.

It was suggested that I’d accuse them of not being real Discordians (which came to mind only 5 minutes prior), and I’d claim this was only a sociological experiment. I didn’t resonate with that one, but I can see why someone would claim so under such intense abuse.

Then the kicker came: A template letter, posted by “Payne”, addressing me:

However, to those with a more rounded experience of your methods and morality, both the beneficiaries and the victims of your self-righteous and self-appointed crusading, it will remain a source of bed-wetting astonishment that it has taken so long for the hive mind to bring themselves to bear upon your arrogant and devious person.

    You are, in the well-chosen words of our resident hate-shitters in describing your ilk, an unreconstructed wanker. To that one might add that you have infinitely more to say for yourself than your knowledge or experience could possibly justify, and that I have seldom found myself passing judgement on someone so evidently lacking the benefits of a damn good kicking.

This rang alarm bells for me, and I posted it on DSH. Which is now this article. I thought I was being paranoid. But it turns out not so.

Eventually I got it in plain English: All of my actions and responses were pre-ordained. Over the past 8 or so years of their “close-knit community” (their words), they have encountered endless amounts of “trolls” who have followed a predictible pattern, and I was just another one of those.

But these self-proclaimed Discordians have never actually considered that their attitude towards “n00bs” (faithfully spelled that way), and in life in-general coupled with their expectations could be generating this experience.
This is the EXACT problem that Erisians point out in conventional 18 Century logic and science.

I don’t need to say anymore. These people are dickheads. Dickheads who want to “modernise” our Holey Books I’ll have you know…
