A society where time-travel through wormholes is common. Major crime is virtually nonexistent, and when it does happen it usually either occurs under mysterious circumstances (like Clue style, where they don't even know where or how it happened) and goes unsolved forever or involves a fatal standoff with the police. This is due to Novikov's self-consistency principle. Crimes don't go unsolved because the police can go back ro the time and place of the crime and stop it. and crimes where the criminal gets caught are generally self-canceling because the criminal would go back and warn themself that it's not going to go right. Therefore most crime can't happen at all. However this is predicated on the police force being big enough that they COULD deal with lots of crime if it DID happen.

A horror movie based on the Book Of Exodus centering on a group of Egyptian commoners caught up in the fallout of the Israelites' supernatural revenge

A cross between Voltron and The Human Cantipede. The robots combine, but they connect together ass to mouth

Two ideas:

*Alternate prespective comedic retelling of ancient greek myth in which Eris and Eros have teamed up to deliberately destroy Zeus' marriage as a joke

*I would like to see a production of Romeo and Juliet where they just jammed in as many Italian stereotypes as they possibly could. Like, in this production, the entire city of Verona should look like some kind of mob-affiliated pizza parlor

Two fantasy rekated ideas:

*Urban fantasy world where the masquerade of keeping magic hidden actually makes sense because magic has a strong conceptual observer effect and the more people can trace a spell of effect to you the weaker it will be. Thus it is mostly done in secret even from other magic users except during training

*Fantasy world wherein the gods are real but shaped by belief (like the Planescape campaign setting from D&D) and frequently grant people magical powers (again, like D&D). As a direct result of this, unlike D&D, the priesthoods of all deities are overwhelmingly dominated by the least wise members of the population; people with maniacal and unsupported levels of faith in their deity's power, as these are the best able to draw on that power and in turn their mania helps increase that power. (seriously, religion in a world where belief is power would logically be even more dominated by madmen than a world where the gods don't actually exist or a world where the gods are lovecraftian abominations)

China announces plans to institute the survaillance system from 1984 and Paranoia by 2020

EDIT:
I think that the rap and metal music industries ought to co-opt this and reach out to the people in China with the absolute lowest scores and turn them into stars

The moon as a symbol/archetype is a powerful one.

Unless you realize the power of the archetype/symbol, it's just another bar in your cell.

That's something a lot of Wiccans don't realize.

Speaking of wiccans and the moon, has anybody else noticed that the Triple Moon symbol bears an uncanny resemblence to Goatse?

And the countries and power blocs have become mindless horrible things. There seems to be a one-upsmanship contest to see who can do the stupidest most deranged shit; first Britain decides to leave the EU, then the United States elects Donald Trump, then the entire EU proposes a bunch of deranged web regulations that are dangerously close to being ratified. The mindless unthinking nation-things are shambling across the world in search of victims.

An alternate history in which Hillary Clinton didn't run in the 2016 election and Trump was instead opposed by Monica Lewinski

EDIT:
Another idea:

Dystopian vignette in which married couples are kidnapped and forced to compete on a gameshow called "Wife or Death" in which they must decide between saving their own life or the life of their spouse.

EDIT:
Abother idea:

A tantasy setting where magic is powered gy the emotion of resignation to failure (at magic)

The zombie apocalypse is currently in progress. You all thought it would just be relatively nonthreatening reanimated corpses but the truth is much worse. It's ideas coming back. Fascism, nationalism, coal, paying for music, manhood, womanhood, marriage, racism, Russia; the mindless dead are rising up to eat the living!
