Or Kill Me / Re: Disreality

Yes, it's Alice in Wonderland meets Alice in Chains.

that one liner just produced a massive internal visualisation of what exactly that would be like.

And, I kinda like it.

The mad hatter's tea party being a little like "Junkhead".. actually, thats scary as fuck!

This makes me want to rewrite Alice in Wonderland as a rock musical.
Except that Layne's dead.

I don't much care for Pearl Jam.I used to love their old stuff, but I find that even that doesn't appeal to me anymore.

pfft. Best. Band, EVER. If you're me.

These things are subjective, tho.

Yes, very. I guess they're ok, my only real beef with them is claiming to be grunge when they don't sound grungy in the slightest to me. Now Mudhoney, that's a grunge band.

Though I suppose I'm approaching it all from a biased punk rock perspective.

I chose 2 because fuck it, it's the only one without a thick black border.

This is the first one that caught my eye.

Damn, that shit makes me sad. But it also makes me feel something better. It makes me angry. And anger is good.

I was giggling a little bit, because I open a page titled "10 Horror Movies For Conservatives To Watch This Halloween", and the first thing I see when the page loads is this image:

Which, to me, does seem like a good premise for a horror movie, but I wouldn't expect a Conservative site to admit it.

This.

Apple Talk / Re: Expanding consciousness?

I studied Japanese for two years and then lived in Japan for a few months, I highly recommend it. The cultural differences between East and West are educational (learn a new culture) but I think the real value is in the introspection of one's own native culture. You come away with a good understanding of the new culture, but an even greater understanding of your old one.

I'll keep that in mind.

When I read the thread title, I thought it was going to be about ways of expanding consciousness, and I was going to mention that I'm going to try learning a language to expand my thought processes. I'm not sure which one, yet, but I'm thinking it'll be an Asian one, because I want to learn one of completely different origins from English.
Good idea y/n?

one word: neopets

The sad thing is that I hear it once had glory days. Glorious glory days they were, I'm told.
