Dude.

Demonstrate some testicular fortitude or Ovarian might or whatever and stop. Think. Realise you're acting like a silly arse and there's a reason you're getting these kind of responses. The reason is you.

Work on that.

I'll do no such fucking thing!  :argh!:

Ah.

Apologies.

For Clarity, the problem is not you, it's them. You see by You I meant him or her, not you. If I were referring to you I'd say "him".

That said, I understand you now identify as a suspension bridge so you may need to correct my pronouns.

I don't need the likes of you telling me it's them. I know it's them. It's been them ever since I started being right all the time.

The reason is that the topic was started by and has become flooded with people who can only think in ideological terms of one extreme. Most of the posters in this sub-forum employ the debate tactics of middle-schoolers. They gang up, ask you if you're going to cry now, and then tell you that you're being silly when you swear at them.

Funny how RP hasn't been seen since this latest Starbucks Libertarian showed up.
Im guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk, Charles Wick said. It was very complicated.

I am pretty sure 169% of every person on here isn't arguing shit. It's just been awhile since a noob waltzed in and tried to SHOW US ALL and we're just SO excited. I know I am. It's that FB, eating up discussion.  :argh!:

Also, because of a billion threads just like this. And worse. Way worse. At least this isn't a drug thread.

I may be a noob to the forum, but I've been a Discordian for over a decade. I'm not here to school anyone, but I think some of you have either lost sight of or never really understood that Discordianism promotes creative disorder over destructive disorder, all the while maintaining that both order and disorder are necessary components of an inherently chaotic universe.

The most active of you (at least in this sub-forum) seem to just be destructively disordered. Or maybe Trump's election just threw you all for such a loop that you haven't had time to recover. I don't know. I'm not here to defend him other than to say that I'm surprised that few of you seem unable to disassociate yourselves from your ideological beliefs.

Arguing over politics is a great way to lose friends and make enemies. Because Discordia is a place full of assholes - and people always ready to admit that they are assholes - I thought that we could all sit down and have a nice rant about people who can't admit that other people are assholes.

And the problem is that we defend the assholes when they're playing for our team. We can't be honest. For me, being discordant is about being absolutely honest in an effort to combat the lies.

Information vs. disinformation.

Nah, just admit that you thought you would get strong support for your childish statement that the protesters are assholes. But it's a stupid statement, so you got people telling you to eat a bag of dicks. When people are protesting over things that have serious impacts on people's freedoms and well being, like civil rights, simply protesting does not make them assholes. Were there also assholes protesting? Well, yeah; here in Portland the local anarchist group always joins every protest just so they can commit property damage. Those people are assholes. But you are calling people who are protesting "assholes" because they are protesting threats to their access to birth control, abortion, and medical services; protesting because certain people are under threat of being rounded up and detained or deported; protesting because certain people are under threat of being put on a national registry because of their religion or national origin; and protesting because certain races are imprisoned or wrongfully killed by police at rates disproportionate to their presence in the population, among other reasons. Those are reasons that have a strong enough validity that it is going to be hard for most intelligent people to dismiss the protesters as "assholes", which is a word with a high subjective definition anyway.

Im guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk, Charles Wick said. It was very complicated.

No, I made it clear how long I've been immersed in the joke in order to combat being called a fucking noob... but apparently you absolutely revel in ganging up on anyone.
