TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

I'm not convinced, but there are a lot of notable parallels and the reasoning is sound.

It's a neat theory...though I really hate to see stuffed tigers say "I fuck like you want to"...

Being a huge Calvin fan for years, and an obvious Durden fan, this was amusing. I didn't think every parallel was spot on, but an interesting observation nonetheless.

Yeah, it's seeing a goddamn zeitgeist these past few days.  Used to be only a few people would ever use it sparingly, but now that it's the hip new emoticon I think I'll gladly never use it again.

RE the smiley: thats the  one now.  I personally would have made it the :roglol: or something, but take it up with ECH if it bothers you that much.

As for the article: yeah, the reasoning is sound, but its still alot of grid perception "hey, these two kinda match up in places, lets roll with it!" style thinking.

Is there a graphic anywhere of a baby nailed to a cross? I dreamed this image up years ago but never got round (or had the skillz) to making it. My argument was that the christian symbol of all that is holy is offensive and also, if you take the bible at it's word, that baby was born to be carpented.
