i think that i have original hand-written drafts here. i never got round to printing the stuff off because we don't have a working printer here at home. i could've got mrs mang to do it at work but never gave it a thought.

i did have it stored on this machine (belonging to one of the step mangs) but it's had loads of trouble and of course, all my shit was purged when the hardrive got reformatted.

with a bit of work, i can probably reconstruct the SSOOKN BIP archives. i'll get hardcopies and put them all in a metal box or something.

and yes, i realize that putting essays on forums & not having harcopies or backups is like...uhh...really st00pid. i will not make the same mistake again.

oh..and i hope i wasn't sounding too selfish there - i'm sure i wasn't the only one who lost stuff to the great beyond. i think we should have a wake for BIP at the OB on PD. or something like that.

We encountered a severe failure in the server wednesday and are trying to restore from the backups. The way the failure occurred though appears to have corrupted the backups, we are working to see what is salvagable. We hope to be able to continue our free service.

So far the company that houses the server has not been willing to work with us to get the drive sent to a data recovery center to try to save the data.

this is as much as i remember:

1 - cosmos unity etc
2 - yin yang duality
3 - holy trinity
5 - five elements
8 - eight elements of i-ching/chinese stuff
13 - something jewish? we were looking for this one, maybe sillycybin knows something to put here?
21 - major arcana?

then you put those in concentric circles, the middle one not divided, second one divided in two, third in three, fourth in five sections etc.
then you could kind of align the different subdivisions

also, the fibonacci sequence actually starts out like 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21 etc
so you could have the center of the circle as '0' and have unity twice? maybe?
