anecdotes -- i could see it both working

1 could be a story about a kid who won his school track and field, but then went to the regionals and finished 17th

2 could be a story about somebody who decayed while waiting for somebody to do something

3 could be the legend i wrote in that other thread that SillyCybin dint like

4 could be a story about a dude who spent years trying to hoard a supply and then some catastrophic event occurs and his surplus is gone in no time because either couldnt watch people starve to death, didnt have enuf bullets, or did have enuf bullets but got overwhelmed by hungry people who didnt hoard anything

Oh, I was just thinking about the allegories that Confucius wrote, how they would lead to a moral conclusion, which he would state at the end. Its an interesting idea, for me.

I can't find the ones I am thinking of, but I found the analects, the collection of sayings:
