Well, that's something.

Seriously, though, that had real potential.  Especially Peacock's movies.

Too bad it just fell on its nose.

Well, to be fair to MGD, daddy-hood can consume a lot of time, much less career advancement.

Don't I know it.

But with him gone 9 days out of 10, who the hell is supposed to admit new members?

Then when he does come back, all he does is spam dadaisms all over the fucking place.

Has anyone suggested a transfer of power/responsibility?  Or is there even anyone willing/able to take it on?

Would it matter?  The momentum is gone.

can't even pull the plug, man. such is the dynamics ..

see BIP/PD06, momentum ebbed, plug got pulled, people complained about it, PD.com crashed, momentum flowed, and the whole cycle started over again

We're an uneasy collection of radicals which may not be the most condusive model for productivity but when we're smokin we're definately smokin. Maybe it's just me I feel like an outsider in any group. I'm not really a fit-in kinda dude but I suspect most of you are like that to an extent, certainly from the impressions given in this forum. There's very little of the buddy buddy shit here that you get a lot of in other groups. I kinda like that, means if someone says something nice about your work then you've fucking earned it. But as a collective it's a great banner to collaborate under. Even if the end result is sporadic, and shit takes a bit longer than you'd like to get done, there's no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
