TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Like when I was a kid playing with action figures.  They'd usually hate each other and have awesome battles to the death, but sometimes they'd get into the "spaceship" and explore.

Brave action figures.  I loved rocketry class.

some action figures got chewed by the dog, lost in the backyard and lost under the basement stairs

some of them mysteriously disappeared

this is making me nostalgic.

the years of action figures.  When you could play out many possibilities.  Where you could be the hero, or the ultimate villain.  Save the world, or destroy the world.  Rue the Day or Rule the Day.

Imagination was very valuable currency.  Not so much, so it would seem, in the Really Real World of Realness.
Cynicism is a blank check for failure.

Unless you're an author or games concept person.

AFK

True, but even then, you may have others telling you what to imagine.  Or at least giving not so subtle hints.

Cynicism is a blank check for failure.

Unless you're an author or games concept person.

i heard it even gets sucked out of those people as they progress from conception of idea to implementation

What a guy - practice banging flies with razors.
And watch out for the robot - he got eyes with lasers.

Enough with the guns already - they're all toys and lames.
