How about 5660/8660 format?

Cainad,
Has 300 clear labels that need something to do with their lives.

Cramulus

None of those yet, AFAIK. google something like "5660 templates". That's how we got the 5160 size sticker templates.

Nothing for OpenOffice. God damn, is it really such an uncommon format? :(

FUCKING VICTORY

Scribus has a download for the Avery 8660 format. I can't really recommend it though, because it's buggy as hell and crashed about 12 times while I was putting this together. The frequent crashings, along with the fact that it takes a good 3 minutes to walk to the computer lab (where I get 40 pages per day of free printing) at a brisk pace, and also the fact that the template is imperfect and my first several tests came out badly (at which point I would have to walk back to my dorm room and make adjustments to the file), combined to make this shitty-ass label sheet take a good four to five hours of work to bang out.

And I would put it here for you twits to download, except the Attach File option seems to have disappeared :?

Edit: never mind, I'll use mihd: http://mihd.net/oivtnq0

3. :D :thanks:

Also, the printer there has a golden apple in it. It never prints on the same side of a sheet of paper twice, meaning I printed labels on the wrong side of the sheet once.

As a result of my wearying efforts, I have developed a new catchphrase: "Nothing works, ever." D/N/T

My college, like so many institutions, requires a stamp of approval for stuff to be posted. I stole it:

Here it is again, in Avery 8660 format: http://mihd.net/45zxtig

YOU ARE A POPE trifold flyer. As I've mentioned once or twice on POEE, I like trifold pamphlets for handouts for a number of reasons, and I've re-formatted a few things into trifold for great justice. It's formatted so that a Popecard (or card of some other kind, I suppose) can be taped over the 'lick here' box. Enjoy. Or, y'know, don't.

My first attempts. They may be a tad too forward, so advice and suggestions are welcomed.

I like these, especially the second one. My suggestions would be to use fewer exclamation points (mimicking the style of official government anti-terror propaganda, which doesn't tend to use many exclamation points) and maybe making the first one a little less obviously a joke. But that's just me... I like posters that are subtle enough that someone will probably take them seriously at first.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing about the exclaimation points and I agree about the subtlety. I have another idea that I'm working on. I'll post it up when it's finished.
