For the record Cain, I don't ignore your posts, I just usually feel completely unable to respond to them, because I don't know enough about the subject to say something relevant, witty, or even accurate.

You'll excuse my skepticism on these points.  I quite find it hard to believe people have any high opinion of me.

I don't know, because no-one wants to fucking tell me what happened.  Come on Roger, you were there.  You think what happened in that thread isn't of my concern?

As far as I can tell, several people who are quite pleasant to me, to my face, had no compunction about doing otherwise behind my back.  The sort of people who often made suckup noises about my work to my face but didn't even hesitate when they were given the green light to stick the knife in.  Why on earth would I trust any of those people with anything ever again?  There was a reason I insisted on account deletion, you know.
