I was turning widdershins and casting my faerie dust out to the four quarters, whilst traversing the path of the tower just a minute ago when my votive candle blew out and I became aware of an ethereal presence in the room. "Blessed be" it told me, "I am nepherphockphock and I bring news from the place of dark misgiving."

I cast a sphere of protection around myself but decided to hear this spirit out. "I bid thee speak thy piece and leave, o' obscure but authentically Egyptian sounding deity.

"I have been sent by the ancient lords of time to bestow upon thee a new kind of Majeek" (spelled properly here for the first time ever) ", which will come to rule all other systems on account of it's total pwnage and forward thinking design."

"And verily I say unto thee," continued the entity, "the new Majeekal system shall be depicted in the form of a flowchart"

***Meanwhile back in the real world***

Looking at all the diagrams that have been flowing around lately, coupled with the occult talk round here, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in trying to come up with compact, basic charts that could describe occult formulae? It's a kind of vague notion but I've been seeing some really descriptive notations of paradigms of consciousness and it's got me thinking.

The bollox above was mainly down to the fact that there's been feck all posts all day and I wanted to write something.

Lemme have a think about it. And try invent some ideas. I'm thinking I might try applying to a couple of tarot cards, see if I can get a feel for what's involved. TBH it's more just - the original idea than any notions as to how it might actually work. Maybe it wont.

the reason i keep using the word 'map' is because thats what this shit seems to be about


you take a look around
weird shit is going on
you look at the map to orient yourself
determine where you want to go
and the map helps you navigate the territory better

(hope thats not too mahdgickqual)


the twist that this map would have is that it could be translatable into different 'languages', ciphers or lingos
- this allows you to be better able to look at things from differences of angles



from another angle - it could also be seen as a creativity device - a 'idea generator'

I'm totally down with that. This project I see working like a kinda mapping conventions dictionary. We've already agreed that making your own map is a good idea (as long as you don't start eating it) And I think we have enough smart brains here to come up with something reasonably awesome. This should be a personal system within our circle, initially a way of communicating ideas rapidly and effectively but, if we come up with something good we may just be able to tart it up in enough pseudo mystical bullshit to make a tidy profit selling books about it to neopagans.

New occult system. With common mapping symbols we can share and explore/expand formulae without resorting to all that ancient enochian or talismanic crap.
