Short response: not possible, if by "common" you mean "universal".

Was thinking more along the lines of - among the half dozen people here who are into stuff like this. You're right nothing universal is possible, ever. Why even bother trying? Come up with your own system (by own I mean with the input of a small group) then, if it's any good, a few others will adopt it. I'm always interested in magicque without the bullshit. Crowley did it without tears which was a good start but the next step is without the trappings of centuries of funky robes and rituals and shit.

I think the whole thing and each individual part can be construed as interfacing in some way. The bit I was describing as 'projection system' is more along the lines of the 3-d engine in  game. It is an interface but then so is the link between sensory and normal consciousness

Any road the point of me posting that wasn't to give my point of view how the bip works but to illustrate how one could make a flowchart element and then expand on it. Could just as easily have been a box but I'm way too arty farty for that

a mechanism for being refined (added to/altered/changed)


and then to apply this map to this occult bullshit
see where/why/how occult originated
- what the implications of it are
- how it can be used (NLP, mnemonics, other tools)

and then use the tool for:
a) developing new occult systems
b) as a source for story ideas / plot ideas
c) whatever apoclyptic/spiritual/superhero/anti-hero quest you find yourself on
d) a way to shed insight on situations you dont understand



every time something comes up, there is concern about being too definite

The beauty of flowcharts is they instantly describe your paradigm but they can just as easily be refined, modified, trashed.. etc.

What I'm looking for is a really easily understood visual system you can use to describe stuff.

To illustrate where I see this going I've done a sequel to the diagram I posted last night. I still don't think it's quite specific enough to be applied to any particular tarot card but with a bit of adding stuff it might be something along the lines of the sun. It's still way to basic to be anything useful but I'm sure you can imagine the potential.

Before working the flowchart, work on your symbols.

An experiment:  Post your symbols with no definition, and we will try to figure out what you're trying to symbolize.

I think you just need a level or two more of detail.  Honestly I'm lost with your diagram though admittedly I haven't gone over the past 2 or 3 days of posts so I'm sure some clues lie there, but I think like LMNO is saying, you need some more context so people can orientate themselves.

when i see that diagram i feel the need to go back to that other diagram and put them next to eachother, because i forgot what the different pyramid levels were for and what the dashed circle around it was ..

(also you left out the superman logo)
