My vote is for Simon Cowell.

Best Dark Lord was The Unraveller "Rakoth Maugrim" in Guy Gavriel Kay's Fionavar Tapestry . Simon Cowell gets my vote for worst of course.

"Billy, when I say that ethics is our number one priority and safety is also our number one priority, you should take that to mean exactly what I said. Also quality. That's our number one priority as well. Don't look at me that way, you're in the corporate world now and this is how it works."
- TGRR, raising the bar at work.

Flagg > Crimson King

Though I only read The Stand and not even a single Dark Tower book.

Randall Flagg: Pleased to meet you, Lloyd. Hope you guessed my name.
Lloyd Henreid: Huh?
Randall Flagg: Oh. Nothing. Just a little classical reference.

Yeah, Randall Flagg was a bad ass.

AL-QAEDA leaders in Iraq are planning the first ,Äúlarge-scale,Äù terrorist attacks on Britain and other western targets with the help of supporters in Iran, according to a leaked intelligence report.

Spy chiefs warn that one operative had said he was planning an attack on ,Äúa par with Hiroshima and Nagasaki,Äù in an attempt to ,Äúshake the Roman throne,Äù, a reference to the West.

Another plot could be timed to coincide with Tony Blair stepping down as prime minister, an event described by Al-Qaeda planners as a ,Äúchange in the head of the company,Äù.

I like Christopher Lee
:p

Nothing against Mr. Lee. My beef is with Lucas and his twats who decided to scratch Asajj Ventress as the DLOTS apprentice for EpII. She would have been far superior imo. Instead they made her Dooku's apprentice for the novelizations. Animated is all fine and dandy, but she was still the only one to kick Anakin's whiney bitch ass.

I was debating whether Dark Helmet counted as a Dark Lord or not.  At least Rick Moranis is funny.  The Crimson King is just plain pathetic.
