We don't eat nearly enough rabbit here in the U.S. I understand it is vary popular in Europe.

Also, I think squirrel season just ended.

It's because we're so crushingly pragmatic as Americans.  Did you know that rabbits are so lacking in nourishment that trying to survive on them has killed enough people to be commonly referred to as "rabbit starvation"?

If by "nourishment" you mean "fat", then yes, but it's only an issue if you eat only rabbit, or other very-low fat meat.

Rabbit still contains plenty of other nutrients. As far as I know, there is no one complete food that contains ideal quantities of all essential nutrients.

I've just been going nuts with the hyphens tonight. I'm writing a report on the Columbia "race riot" of 1946, and for some reason, I seem to be using a lot of hyphens.

I get ansy when I use too many hyphens. The weird thing is that hyphens seem to beget more hyphens: once you have at least two on a single page, they start to multiply. Like rabbits (zomg brought the conversation full circle!).
