Brother Mythos

April 6, 1963 - The Kingsmen Recorded Their Cover of "Louie Louie"

American Songwriter magazine, whatever that is, wrote about this song, "It might be the best-known rock song of all time. It might be the most important rock song of all time." And, the Kingsmen's cover is by far its best-known version.

"Louie Louie" has been covered by literally thousands of noted artists. It inspired International Louie Louie Day, in honor of its writer, Richard Berry. And, it inspired the infamous Louie Louie Parade held annually in Philadelphia, until it was eventually canceled due to "excessive rowdiness."

The Establishment of the 1960s really freaked-out over "Louie Louie" being played on the radio. J. Edgar Hoover actually assigned FBI agents to follow the Kingsmen around from performance to performance, to investigate suspected obscenities in the song's lyrics. Now, that in itself was truly indicative of just how popular and influential this song was to ultimately become.

Brother Spartacus thus continued the world's oldest and most successful conspiracy, in Ingolstadt, Electorate of Bavaria.

And, of course, it is only the merest of coincidences that the U.S. of A. declared independence that same year, and that International Workers' Day is also celebrated on May 1st.

Brother Mythos

Kasparov resigns after 19 moves in a game against Deep Blue, a chess-playing computer developed by scientists at IBM. This was the sixth and final game of their match, which Kasparov lost two games to one, with three draws.

May 29, 1953 - First Confirmed Successful Ascent and Decent of Mount Everest

Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first confirmed humans to stand on the highest point of planet Earth, and return to tell about it.

The peak of Mount Everest has since become a high priced tourist attraction, high altitude graveyard, and a garbage dump. But, that first successful ascent was looked upon as an act of exploration.

Brother Mythos

May 30, 2024 - First Time a U.S. President Was Convicted of Committing Felonies

TSF, a former U.S. president, was convicted of committing thirty-four (34) felonies in New York, New York. These felonies were committed to cover up hush money payments to both a porn star and a Playboy model prior to the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Brother Mythos

June 17, 1972 - The Watergate Break-in

In a case of Republicans just being Republicans, minions of the Nixon administration burglarized the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee. And, of course, 'Tricky Dick' Nixon, the sitting Republican POTUS at the time, did his best to cover it up.

But, fear not! The Republican Party has learned a thing or two from its past mistakes. Since then, they have closed ranks, and pack the courts with even more of their 'party over country' believing minions. And so, the possibility of a future Republican president ever being forced from office for committing mere felonies has been put to rest.

July 22, 1934 - John Dillinger Was Allegedly Killed

So, who you gonna believe Discordians, the FBI, or RAW?

Brother Mythos

August 1, 2023 - TSF Indicted for the Third Time for Election Obstruction

This Federal indictment accused TSF and six unindicted, unnamed co-conspirators of knowingly spreading lies that there was widespread "fraud in the election and that he had actually won," ultimately leading to the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.

The four (4) charges are Conspiracy to Defraud the U.S., Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding, Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding, and Conspiracy Against Rights.

Brother Mythos

August 9, 1974 - US President Richard M. Nixon, a Republican, Resigned from Office

Ol' Tricky Dick bailed because his attempt to cover up his administration's involvement in the break-in at DNC headquarters, in the Watergate Office Building, failed. The Watergate scandal ultimately resulted in 69 criminal indictments, and 48 convictions.

That actually happened in that long forgotten time before Nixon's political party morphed into today's Republicultâ„¢. It's true, boys and girls. There once was a time when that political party actually possessed a rudimentary, collective moral compass.

Brother Mythos

August 14, 2023 - TSF Indicted for the Fourth Time - This Indictment Was for Election Racketeering in Fulton County, Georgia

This State of Georgia indictment is now a pending criminal case against TSF and eighteen (18) co-defendants for violating the state's 'Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO)' statute, and other, numerous state laws. The RICO statute alone carries a penalty of five to twenty years in prison.

All of the many State of Georgia charges against TSF were made because of his many brazen, criminal attempts to overturn his loss in the 2020 presidential election. So, TSF is not only a loser, he's a poor loser.

Brother Mythos

August 28, 2014 - President Barack Obama Wore a Tan Suit

And, he blatantly did so in public, thus drawing the ire of Republican commentators and politicians as being shocking, inappropriate, and unpresidential.
