I dunno about the mush thread, but I can link you to the George Bush saintning one which had a lot to do with it.

No, that was much later in the Jihaad, IIRC.  Roger posted that just to poke Tao, AFTER Efrim and Hugh got him all upset.

I actually saw someone wearing something similar to that today: black and white kitten heel mary janes, purple hose, brown pleated skirt and a puke green top.  I thought it was cool, but I was in the goth part of town wearing all black at the time.
