Before we get into a debate about how "absurdity" may or may not be defined, I'll say this:

1) it doesn't look like the OP was supposed to be enlightening.  I'm not sure anymore, but I think this is the "literary chaotic" subforum.  So, the OP may have been going for entertainment.

2) in literature, I'm not a big fan of incomprehensibility, as opposed to juxtaposition or non sequitor.  I like it in graphic arts (can i haz jackson pollock debate tiem?), but when I'm reading, that kind of stuff just makes my eyes glaze over.

3) Z Man seems to have mommy issues.

4) the name "Z Man" makes me think of "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls".

Right. No more arguing over the semantics of "absurdity."
Second. This is Bring and Brag.  Literate Chaotic is Nixon.

Z, let me give you a hand.

This board no longer believes that absurdity is a useful tool to be used if enlightenment is the goal.

That's right, since some people can't figure out how to use it... then it must not be USABLE!!!

LOL.

Actually, now that you point it out, I don't really like the fact that KE is speaking for the board.

Sometimes its easy to slip up unintentionally... E Prime may not be good for much, but it does seem to make statements like Keeper's more useful and less broad ;-)

LMNO names an, as yet, undiscovered musical genre.

Horrifyingly wonderful.

i think Borp would be a mixture of be-bop and folk/rock.

Actually Borp is the new cool thing in Spoken Word, it's basically a beatbox and Robert Bork reading from his books.
