Undeveloped Tesla inventions?

Anyone know about this stuff?  Scalar fields, Z Machines, rotary turbines and vacuum energy generators?  I've got a bunch of ebooks on it and I'm curious if anyone's done some research.

I'm posthumously in love with Tesla.

I've read about some of his undeveloped inventions, but from what I have read, since all his documentation was lost in the fire and no one can seem to replicate them, it's sort of a difficult row to hoe.

Actually, not all his documents were lost.  Google the Tesla Engine Builders Society or torrent search keyword tesla.  A lot of his journals are available.

I read this book tesla inspired fiction, about some guy that wants to destroy america with one of tesla's badass death ray things.  Awesome because although it is fiction a lot of the info about tesla is true.  And the main character is a G.

Scalar field technology is currently suspected to be capable of producing such a weapon.

ok just .. what do you mean by "scalar field"?

i thought i knew what it was (some mathematical construct used in physics) and wikipedia confirms this.

what's it got to do with Tesla? and/or death rays?

"a scalar field associates a scalar value (...) to every point in space."

(a "scalar value" is just a fancy word for a numerical value, as opposed to vector values, colours, types of fruit or sets of important historical personalities)

i have used scalar fields for all kinds of things.

for example, when i cook a chicken in the oven, the temperature distribution inside the chicken is a scalar field.

how do i turn the chicken into a death ray now?

Was it Tesla who had some schematics for some sort of device that could bring down a bridge.  I seem to remember the Mythbusters doing something with it and I thought it was a Tesla thing but maybe not.  It was a device that was basically this Piston that when vibrating on the bridge could get the whole thing to fail, lose integrity, and crumble.  Although, they pretty much busted the concept as it didn't do much at all.

The mythbusters do not bust myths, they mock them.  Also, they'd be the busted ones if they took down a bridge.

Anyway, 000:  It's actually something I know nothing about, except that it's something this guy thinks is a big deal. http://www.prahlad.org/pub/bearden/scalar_wars.htm

Well, that's cool then.

page wouldn't load yesterday, i just checked it.

you don't seriously believe this shit, right? it's nothing but physics-buzzword babble that make no sense if you actually try to figure out what he's talking about, but serve well to impress the layman.

i wonder why people make websites like this. trolling, scamming, delusion?

I was first apprehensive of Bearden's claims because Tesla was rigidly anti-weapon in his work.  Alright, so it's a fake.  Nevertheless, if half of what is said of Tesla's unpublished inventions then there's a lot to be explored.

Triple Zero

yeah, for example, if we could only generate half the energy from that infinite-energy-from-"active"-vacuum device ..
