TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

also consider: March 15th- The Ides

maybe colbert goes for the Ides, and we warn Stewart to "Beware"?

I would guess between being raised Catholic and his education, that latin wouldn't be an issue.

The ides of March are a long way away. In my experience, people lose focus if a project's end-date is too far away. I personally think March 5th is pretty far away too (over a full month), but it gives us time to distribute this idea through all of discokind

tyrannosaurus vex

Warning Jon Stewart to beware the Ides of March might be good comedic content, but depending on the dickishness levels of his lawyers, it might also be construed as a threat. Just sayin.

Agreed, quick and immediate... Right now, they have no writers and are starving for content (see last night's Colbert show). If they start getting weird letters in the next few weeks while the strike is still on, I think we have a much better chance of them playing our game ;-)

FUCKING JACKPOT!

Except for these only having enough resolution to look good at very small sizes, or in conjunction with other highly pixellated elements to look intentional.

Not that that's ever stopped us before though...

I figured small sizes for letterhead might be ok...

Large sizes could be cool too. I'm just saying use the distressed/pixellated element with awareness.

I might rebuild some of these to look clean and crisp if I ever have the time.

Still an awesome resource, Rat.

We need to start kicking this thing into gear for letters week.

What do you think we can do to get tons of people to participate?

prepackage everything.

like the copypasta Cain made for the GLP raid.

make it as easy as possible for people, just a PDF to print, an address where to send it to.

and whatever else you want them to do, give them the possibility of their own creative input, but if they wanna be lazy and still join, they should be able to without much thinking or work.

INFORMATION SO POWERFUL, YOU ACTUALLY NEED LESS.

Gives me another reason to try out some of these new PDF creation tools on linux...
