There's the thing though, it's not clear cut autism the drug induces.  It's just a synapse-regulating inhibitor, so who knows what that'd be.

I cant wait to go down to the local towerblock flats and pick up some pseudo 'insert mental illness here' pill.
I dont think they will ever be able to perfectly replicate autism, but a faked watered down version could still be fun.

Depends on the functionality of the person before they took it.
You could just get an increased in introversion and OCD tendencies, likely with an associated drop in social functioning, empathy, or whatever you want to call it.  Without any clear project or goal presented, I'd guess hours of compulsive gaming or playing with Legos would be invovled.  Keep them AWAY form Wikipedia.
Getting a repsonse or communication out of them may be difficult / impossible.
