Found an interesting torrent on Mininova with about 270 popular science books (2.5 GB worth).  I'm still in the middle of downloading it, so I haven't sifted through all of it yet.  I know that not everyone here can do torrents so if you see anything on there that you want just let me know.

I think that should do.  if its not too much trouble.

I'll put it all in a .zip file when I get the chance.  I have a few other Sagan books (The Pale Blue Dot, Dragons of Eden, The Demon Haunted World, Billion and Billions) if you want them too.

I didn't see that "The Big Bang Never Happened" book the first time.  I wonder how bad it is.

It could be amusing.

I have The Demon Haunted World, but anything else would be gratefully recieved too.

Iason Ouabache

I've got the books together as a .rar but I can't seem to upload it anywhere since it is way over the 100 MB limit most places set.  Any other suggestions?

Megaupload normally allows for 500 MB or so on its downloads.

Otherwise, I would suggest archiving them in 100MB files and uploading them that way.  If you don't know how to do that, just holla and I can give you instructions.

fomenter

i have picked up a few pdf books my question is how do you read them with out a sore eyes neck etc ? any tricks ideas would be cool

I have a laptop, a nice chair, and a comfy bed.  Dunno about eyes, but I wear glasses for reading and watching television, so maybe they're not as strained as the average person.

And I look at all my e-books and remember how much money I saved, if the above are not available.

Iason Ouabache

I completely forgot about Megaupload.  Here's your link:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7J7Q9UBH

Warning for anyone else who tries to download the torrent:  it's compressed as a .uif file which takes a program like MagicISO to open.  It was annoying to deal with, but worth it in the long run.

Awesome, thanks.

Downloading now.  This will fill out my science e-book folder quite nicely....
