Eggs are certainly tasty fare. And when cooked right, they make wonderful music, as noted in the comments.

but if you put one in the bottom of a cup of water for 1:30 and not a single second longer it comes out perfectly poached.

well, that's kind of important. some microwaves are 700W on high, others are 800 or 900 :)

maybe even 1100W
