There was Whiskey, minding his own business and nursing a barley pop, when suddenly this asshole sat down and started trying to talk.  "Trying" sounded like "ook eek ook".  His human was pretty rusty, so he said nothing and kept drinking, hoping the thing would leave.  But it stayed a long time.  About eight years, matterofact.
