No, we're not mercenaries. We just carry weapons and kill things for the joy of the experience.

Look, asshole:  Your 'incomprehensible' act, your word-salad, your pinealism...It BORES ME.  I've been incomprehensible for so long, I TEACH IT TO MBA CANDIDATES.  So if you simply MUST talk about your pineal gland or happy children dancing in the wildflowers, go talk to Roger, because he digs that kind of shit

Adios

who said anything about being untouchable?

Quoteif you have valid criticism of the troops themselves (as opposed to the people ordering them around), that's cool. Calling someone a "babykiller" when they've been risking their life on a daily basis in what they view (probably misguidedly) as an effort to defend their country's vital interests is just ignorant and fucked up.

I'm beginning to think that IRL you do alot of screeching.

I think IRL he does a lot of bleeding.

whatever. If you're not going to make the effort to communicate (and not just tap randomly on the keyboard), I don't why people should make the effort to pay attention.

If you have actual ideas to communicate, type them out coherently. Nobody wants to decode what you  might be saying.

again, just because this is a "Discordian forum" doesn't mean we eat up every ounce of random bullshit.

It takes a lot to get Cram cranky.

It's stupid, because I know you're not a troll,
but you're displaying the same busted signal:noise ratio as one.

I'm not saying that people have to produce intellectual gems of creativity or whatever.

I mean frankly the bar is set pretty low,

but don't you want people to read your posts without having to ask "WTF are you on about?"

Dysfunctional Cunt

I suggest you fuck with the police instead of soldiers.  It will make things much quieter around here a lot quicker!

no you are missing me. I see them on the same level as police, fire and Doctors (well most) and nurses
NOT ABOVE THEM

the Letterman's jacket  did set some rivally going since I am a leather jacket type

So  you have a kneejerk reaction to people you view as being in a position of "authority"? Your list of who you perceive that way is really interesting. Has it ever occurred to you that your perception reflects a great deal about your own insecurities, and not very much about reality? It is especially strange that you perceive firemen, doctors, and nurses as "authority", let alone soldiers, who are in fact the opposite of "authority", as those poor guys are trained to take orders, not give them.

It seems to me that your issues may be tied into the uniform, which is a common enough neurosis. Do you also perceive mail carriers and other uniformed service workers as a form of authority? Have you ever considered getting counseling for this problem?
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

You also seem to have some holdover resentment about being bullied in high school, and you're projecting it onto people you perceive as being "successful" within the system, such as soldiers. FYI, a lot of people who join the military actually had a shitty time in high school, too. Misfits, social rejects, and the poor are far more likely to join the military than are the stereotyped "jocks" or prep-school types. The "jocks" and prep-school types go to private colleges and then get MBAs and law degrees and wear suits, because their parents would never stand to see young Dirk join the ARMY. The ARMY is for people without options, without rich parents and private-school tuition and sports scholarships.

The kid on the bus is probably just really happy to not be dead right now, and is just trying to figure out how to stop having nightmares every night and put his life back together and use the paltry college allowance he earned in service.

You want to be mad at someone, try being mad at someone who's actually in charge of this bullshit.

Nigel you are going to get ulcers if you continue to hold back like this. Really you must learn to just say what you think.
