I'm just not seeing where this is art.

I've read the tutorial for making that lightning effect too, but it's kind of synthetic and weird looking anyway. So once you had that, you decided you needed something to do with it, and you settled on cutting yourself out of a picture, pasting it on top, and adding another filter?

I don't know, I'm just not getting it, and it kind of looks like a DeadJournal profile picture or something.
