Yum!  I bought a "dark ale" at Trader Joe's the other day that was pretty great. 

Wasn't as chewy as I like, but still GREAT nose and GREAT flavor.  Sorta licoricey once it warmed a bit in the glass, actually.

Having Harviestoun Old Engine Oil Scottish black ale tonight.

It's slightly tart, quite grapey and has a nice creamy head. I like it!
