Yes. This weekend has actually been a cookie-making flurry.

ooh that looks good.  I'm looking more for a gingerbread recipe, as in something to stick in a loaf pan and possibly make some glaze to drizzle over, but i'm planning on making gingerbread cookies too.

the problem i've found with gingerbread is that most recipes are very similar but some are heavenly and some are reeeeeally bad.

I dunno, I go with pumpkin bread 100%.  Try Joy of Cooking maybe?
