I confess to having a distinct tribalist bent, but I feel that tribe and nation are very different concepts.

And the "pride" thing... yeah! Totally! Being proud of something completely arbitrary which you did not in any way influence seems like a last-ditch effort to find something of value in an otherwise worthless life. I mean, if you want to be proud, DO something, MAKE something to be proud of, to feel accomplished over. Otherwise it's like me being proud of having brown eyes. Or fingers.

I used to make films in school, and would generally act any character I couldn't find someone to play... which is how Enrico was developed actually.  Believe it or not, that crazy old bastard has been in my life since 1994!

I just did one the other night which is full on acting... I basically did my rendition of Christian Bale's outburst, while commenting on Christian Bale's outburst.  It was fun.
