Dr Goofy

I thought about moving from the US for some years... was told by others it is not much better else where. So I decided to suck it up and fix what I can here or die trying... Death will come soon I guess.

It depends on which country is "your" country.

My country is "the independent republic of hurry the fuck up and burn this fucker DOWN already!" so...yeah, I'd say that pissing off Arabs (or anyone else) would pretty much be within the scope of my national interests.

This.

Also, more Putin bashing.

If you haven't pissed China off (and you haven't), then you're not trying hard enough.

PROTIP: call their government out on the dodgy loans used to stage their fake economic recovery.  It makes the court mandarins in both the US and China spit blood.

It should be really easy for a young man with your assets to immigrate to a socialist country with a stable economy. I understand the Netherlands will take in just about ANYONE, providing you ask nicely.

you gotta get a work permit, then a job, move in, apply for "be allowed to stay" permit (verblijfsvergunning, dunno what its called), then work for five years and then apply for citizenship.

no wait that's if you're from the EU. and if you're from the EU you dont need the work permit, afaik.

it's complicated.

I'll probably find out as soon as my gf (who is like half-German) is moving over. Being born in the Netherlands, she already got the Dutch nationality, but having lived part of her life outside NL, and some bureaucratic misinformation not yet the citizenship. It's all very confusing.

...

maybe for indigoblade, it's best is she moved to some horrible african war-ridden country, get in trouble there (shouldnt be hard), and then apply for political asylum in the Netherlands. if you can prove your life's in danger, it might speed up the process somewhat.

To clarify these are my requirements 1) free healthcare
2)free college
3)free child care
4)opprotunity to grow towards my interests

What about legal drugs and prostitution? Why aren't those on your list?  :lulz: (or are they covered in point four?)

Annoying China enough that they stop buying your currency would speed up this process massively.

Isn't the Netherlands also quite overcrowded?  Its got one of the smallest land available to population ratios in Europe, I believe, which is no doubt putting stress on housing prices, services and the immigration system, who will probably handpick those with the skills it feels the country needs and discard the rest.

Countries like France and Austria, on the other hand, seem almost underpopulated by comparison.

Oh, sure.  But that would be like chugging a bottle of 60 year old whiskey.  You could do it, but it would be wrong.  Also, I hate the Chinese, too, and want them to be hopelessly entangled with us when we sink.

I have no fear of that.  Apparently, China's factories are doing so bad and so many have shut down that the country has become a net exporter of oil.  I actually did a double take when I saw that on the news.
