Start a new thread with it.

That's what this forum is for.  And it's pretty good.

:mittens: Cram, I've been going through the same thing myself, and I have it pretty good.  But it's so easy to get bogged down by this damned ratrace.  I've been thinking of writing an Or Kill Me on my idea on "The Hamster Wheel"*...I think I will after I return from Vegas.

Damn, Cram. :(

Shit be suckin'.

My friend got this jigsaw, months ago.
He spent ages trying to solve it, beond obsession.
It impacted on his life, he wouldn't come out with us because he had to make more progress. He started missing meals and lost his job.

Then, after eight months he came out screaming.
"I'VE DONE IT, I'VE FINISHED"

I looked at him "its about bloody time, its taken ages"

"Not really" he smiled "it said four to five years on the box"

for the record: writing this shit down and spewing it was very cathartic

it was also really nice to be able to look at it written down like that and go, "yeah what a bunch of hot trash". If I'm tying my income to my ego, something's miswired. I'm not out of the forest yet, but feeling a lot better now than when I wrote this, and the few weeks before it.

thanks for the advice you tards. it was helpful in jiggering around my point of view.

I always thought it would be nice find some abandoned beach property. Build a shack, fish, swim and sleep.
Highly impractical and improbable. Would be nice all the same
That would be my only solution.

wouldn't that rock? I hear that in hunter-gatherer societies, the average "work week" is something like four or five hours long. They spend the rest of their time singing songs and weaving mats and pursuing their interests... and dying of preventable diseases. It's such a shame I can't live in the jungle and still get internet access and nearby hospitals.

IOZ wants to create something he calls feudal anarchism.  Just enough electricity to keep the internet, fridges and hospitals running.

What's great about this thread, Cram, is that you sound JUST LIKE I DID, back somewhere around Sermon #10, when my hate blew loose.
