Testimonial - Well it seems that most of you "discordians" are little more than dupes of the Cathedral/NWO memetic apparatus after all -- "freethinkers" in the sense that you are willing to think slightly outside the designated boxes of correct thought, but not free in the sense that you reject the existence of the boxes and seek their destruction.

Still very much a newbie, please be nice.

"Bob Dylan - Subterranean Homesick Blues (Official HD Video)"

I found another song in my collection that's Discordian worthy, and this one is by no less than a winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. Actually, Dylan wrote a number of songs that are Discordian worthy, but this is the first one that came to mind.

"Rolling Stones - Far Away Eyes (Beacon Theatre, NYC 2006)"

I was in the mood for some Country Music, and that's something that doesn't happen very often. So, I cranked up my favorite Country Music song.

Brother Mythos

"Muddy Waters - Hoochie Coochi Man (Live)"

I was in the mood to hear some blues, so I played this from my collection. It's a classic Chicago Blues number done with "stop-time" accompaniment. This song was actually written by Willie Dixon, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, in the "Early Influences" category.

Finally digging into modern funk rock in an attempt to bolster my theory that funk rock and nu metal are related. Loving this stuff. Howl, you'll love this.

"I am that worst of all type of criminal...I cannot bring myself to do what you tell me, because you told me."

There's over 100 of us in this meat-suit. You'd think it runs like a ship, but it's more like a hundred and ten angry ghosts having an old-school QuakeWorld tournament, three people desperately trying to make sure the gamers don't go hungry or soil themselves, and the Facilities manager weeping in the corner as the garbage piles high.

Brother Mythos

This video recently popped up on my YouTube homepage recommendations list:

That Time Dave Davies Invented Heavy Metal

Now, I'm not ready to give Dave Davies of The Kinks sole credit for inventing Heavy Metal. If anyone really deserves that singular honor, I think Mars Bonfire and Steppenwolf earned bonus points with the memorable lyric "heavy metal thunder" in the song "Born to Be Wild." Still, although I had never thought about it before, I do acknowledge that Dave Davies and The Kinks did make noteworthy contributions to the genre.

So, here's the full version of You Really Got Me (2014 - Remaster)

Brother Mythos

I'm listening to this today in honor of ex-TFG aide Peter Navarro finally being sent to prison:

I Fought the Law - The Bobby Fuller Four

I hope to enjoy listening to it again and again, as more high-ranking members of the Republicultâ„¢ receive their just rewards.

Today is International Louie Louie Day! At least it is according to this link:   International Louie Louie Day

So, of course, here's what I'm listening to today:   Louie Louie - The Kingsmen {DES Stereo} 1963

Watching and listening to this video today, I once again find it truly bizarre that FBI agents were actually assigned to follow these guys around in the Establishment's quest to find obscene lyrics in the song. But then, the Establishment of the 1960s really did live in fear of the youth of that era.

Brother Mythos

When this music video popped up on my YouTube page, I thought it was going to be a parody. But no, it's the real thing!

One Toke Over The Line - Lawrence Welk - WTF! (1971)

Apparently, Mr. Welk didn't have a clue about what some of his cast members were doing.
