Oh, and LMNO... The fact that some other random Discordian spag has also been able to pry this esoteric shit out of the Law of 5s... we'll, that's done wonders for my paranoia that I was just going crazy as fuck.  :lulz:

It has been frequently observed that the Law of Fives is an insightful commentary on the ability for a human to make connections amongst disparate, discreet points.

However, what has not been pointed out (recently) is the connection (hah!) between creativity, inspiration, and the joining of conflicting elements.

The Law of Fives is not just a means of explaining cognitive bias, or underlining the correlation = causation fallacy.

It is also a game that can be played to kick your brain in its ass, and start thinking about things in a new way.  It is a method not for revealing external truth, but for revealing hidden paths within your own consciousness.

The connections revealed when applying the Lo5 mean nothing, except that everything is connected to everything else (order + disorder = chaos).  But the process of figuring out what the connection is reveals much about the user making the connection.

Thank you for your time, and please excuse the esoteric intrusion.

For Automaton's sake, I amend the offending paragraph thusly:

The things that are connected when applying the Lo5 mean nothing, except that everything can be connected to everything else (order + disorder = chaos).  But the process of figuring out how they are connected reveals much about the user making the connection.

Hope that helps.

Just to add RAW into the mix, I got sick of seeing 23 and finding quarters, so I started looking for pieces of steel to make into knives.

Found 3 last week.

Edit:  Richter:  Stubbornly refusing to "Get it", but now better armed.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

I think the fact you shifted the focus, and had results, means you probably do "get it".

You ever learned a new word and then heard it from a variety of disparate sources, a ridiculous number of times shortly thereafter?

That totally cracks me up when that happens. I'm sure my brain has been actually filtering it out beforehand and that's fucking amazing to me.

Yeah, I can't be bothered with the back story, but it was on thursday that I noticed that "Acorn" is written everywhere around here and on a corner that I have walked by for three years without noticing there is a Natwest branch. I can tell that it was there before because I would notice the building work.

This happens to me a lot with recognizing logos.
