Well I dont know about anyone else, but I intend to put a lot of work into the IdeologyTropes wiki.

Time to do something useful with the masses of knowledge in my head, and I can think of nothing better than an Open Source database for disrupting the memetic reality of Western postindustrial existence by turning its own tools against it.

WHEN I READ APPLE TALK:

I almost always skip the threads whose OP is just a link with no explanation

I often skip threads about news or current events, because they're generally just people reacting to the news, which I can get on any forum on the internet. If the thread manages to get over 5 pages, it's because there's either a real conversation going on, or a threadjack. 75% of the time it's a funny threadjack. I do enjoy hearing everyone's reaction to the news, but if it wasn't something I care about, I skip

I generally skip threads that seem to belong on livejournal.
