that old Tom goes
to type out his insanity?
The place where I
let loose my soul
and bring you in to this calamity?

Is this where mad Tom writes?
Is this where he tames?
If so then let there be rejoice!
If not this piece goes up in flames!

But if this is where
old Tom can rhyme
and sing about his delight.
Then let mad Tom
sing you a song
in the middle of the night.

Is this where mad Tom speaks?
Is this the proper forum?
Or on the streets in a paper bag suit?
Or in a hall with odd decorum?

Mad Tom was young
and young Toms tongue
with filled with fury and fire.
Young Tom could sense
the presence of magic
but was not a studious sire.

Is this where mad Tom tells?
Is this where he begs?
If so then let me hear the cries!
If not I'll go back to wearing rags!

So then young Tom
was full of fun
and really couldn't be bothered.
Then some one asked
a curious question
and young Tom suddenly flowered.

Is this what mad Tom does?
Is this his normal style?
Am I myself?  Am I you too?
If so then let's get this party wild!

"So you like to read?"
This wise man said
and young Tom replied "Yes!"
"Well you should read
this book, it's great.
It's called "Illuminatus."

Is this where mad Tom undresses?
Is this where he goes naked?
If so then let me do a dance!
If not then sorry I'm mistaken!

Tom was rejoiced
to find this book
in a very common place.
Young Tom was not
however, expecting
to be put on his face.

Is this what mad Tom says?
Is mad Tom really mad?
If so then let him down easy!
If not, well... he understands.

There was a great
whirlwind all about
and the paths went on forever.
Two great teachers
and friends to boot,
Tom thought the world was pretty clever.

Is this where mad Tom hides?
Is this where it's safe?
If so then give a brother a hug!
If not then we can still embrace!

Mad Tom lost sight
over some time
and spent many years forgetting.
Tom "knew it all"
and could spout it off
to people who just didn't know better.

Is this where mad Tom lies?
Is this where he tells the truth?
If so then let there be many told!
If not then let me get the boot!

Then one day Tom
was at the bottom
looking straight up to the stars
And Tom asked "Why?"
and a voice replied,
"You did it to yourself, retard!"

Is this where mad Tom troubles?
Is this where he rants?
If so then let me let it flow!
if not then "FUCK OFF" will be the chants!

Then Tom remembered
what he already knew
which was that he didn't know shit.
Except that there
was another way
and the way, Tom knew, was magic.

Is this where mad Tom hits and runs?
Is this where he slanders?
If so then let Tom kill em all!
If not then it's just old Toms banter.

So Tom went in
and got a copy
of the book he'd bought that fateful day.
Then Tom signed on
and googled "Hail Eris!"
And what came up?  Well fuckin A!

Is this what mad Tom is?
Is mad Tom a poet?
If so then I will sing my song!
If not then here's your cabbage- throw it!

Old Tom likes it
here with you
and mad Tom thinks he'll stay
Mad Tom is still
and shitty study
but mad Tom is on the way.

Is this where mad Tom stops?
Is this the very end?
If so then let there be REJOICE!
If not then let the stones start flying in!
