I think one impact this might have, and maybe rightly so, is that fewer people are going to get flu shots the next time they come out.  This, back to back with two rounds of ineffective flu shots, why even bother anymore?

Well, I live right near the border (about a half hour away from it), and my husband sees primarliy Mexican immigrants as patients.  So, doing some quick figuring, I am thinking we probably have the virus hanging out here in some form or other!  WASH YOUR DAMNED HANDS BEFORE YOU EAT, PEOPLE! 

And yeah, in Mexico, be safe, don't drink the water, don't even swish it in your damned mouth while brushing your teefs.  Drink beer.  Cheaper, safer.

My husband this weekend said he wants to bathe the doors of mosques and temples in swine flu and film it to make people all squirmy.  But then, he tends to think like an asshole sometimes.

Then I hear on NPR about some fucker protesting it should be called "Mexican" flu instead, and it made me shake my fist in the air a bit.
