Upon her arrival, she was repeatedly asked what her parents, friends, and teachers had done tostop the atrocities of the Nazi regime. The questioning had an effect on her: when she began to see atrocities beingcommitted again, this time during the Vietnam War, she took action. She and her friends engaged in civildisobedience to try to stop a shipment of napalm and to raise consciousness about the issue.

I went down to DC to protest the inauguration.  It was generaly a rainy, crappy day.  I even slammed the side of my head into the bus when I slipped down the stairs getting off of it.  

If George gets elected again I'm going to do my damnedist to move overseas.  I think it is hilarious that Germany, the site of one of the most brutal fascist states of all time, now has a democratic system that better represents the people and in general just plain works better.  Although they still have a few issues to work out regarding freedom of speech.
