Nat Geo series expounding new biological classification system for categorizing of species w.r.t. exo-planetary origin.  Darwin's goog story is only half refuted, however, panspermia is actually responsible for most of our diversity.  Each episode traces the manifold of evolutional morphology (MEM) of a particular specimen back to the space-time topology corresponding to the planet of origin.  For example, like how the 4D geodesic of a sea-cucumber's evolutionary curvature matches the geometry of space-time on Uranus, or, the way that most species endemic to Florida are actually of trans-plutonic origin, and so on.

A psychologist who had been working for the government on mind control research is arrested when security procedures are breached and an outsider comes to discover one of his experiments. The government disavows any association with him, and he goes to prison. Twenty years later, he ends up qualifying for a program wherein prisoners train service dogs. Secretly, he trains the dogs with special attack commands -- attack commands that are police ten-codes -- based on the idea that this will cause the service dogs to attack policemen, as a roundabout way for him to get revenge upon the executive branch of the government. However, in reality, the dogs mostly just end up murdering whole families who are watching television because the actors were saying ten-codes.

OK, holiday TV special idea. Instead of a Christmas special or a holiday special or even a solstice special, this is a "seasonal-affective disorder special". It starts out with a typical holiday-special contrived ruin the holidays type dilemma but it doesn't get solved even by the end of the program because everyone's too down to properly deal with it. As for music, mixed in with the regular Christmas carols (such as "Christmas Shoes" and "Do They Know It's Christmas [in Africa]", "Please Come Home for Christmas" and "I'll have a Blue Christmas Without You") are covers of "Falling Away From Me" and "Suicide Hotline" and possibly also "Paint it Black".

Yes. It's sung during a segment that is otherwise a pastiche of the classic 1990's Christmas comedy film "Home Alone"

In the "Truly Home Alone" sequence mentioned above, the kid - using improvised devices - attacks and kills two guys he mistakenly thinks are after him due to isolation fueled paranoia

Ok, possible general sequence of plot. Protagonist group is going to Africa over the month of December to do charity work ("Do They Know It's Christmas") but one of their group is accidentally left behind. When the rest of the group lands they contact their split off party member over the phone and eventually determine that reconnecting in time will be impossible ("Please Come Home for Christmas"/"I'll Have A Blue Christmas Without You"). The main group gets on with their charity work but as the the one left behind becomes depressed and isolated without his family and friends, despite their attempts to contact him whenever they can ("Here's to the Lonely"). He gradually becomes paranoid and insane, booby trapping the house, yard and sidewalk; one of these latter traps eventually leads to an incident which leads to a violent confrontation with the police and the character's death ("Truly Alone"). Upon from returning from their work that day, the others recieve news of the character's death ("Falling Away From Me"). The next day the character's love interest tries to put it out of their mind by throwing themselves into their work building low-income housing, but it jist makes things worse ("Paint It Black"). That night they get a Christmas tree and put it up, and raise a glass in their fallen comrade's honor, but the only tree they can get is really dry. It catches fire and everyone dies ("Fire")

Another christmas special idea:
A family of adorable talking mice are getting ready to celebrate christmas. Infortunately for them they are preceived by everyone just as being mice and by Christmastime are exterminated by the human family whose house they live in. I actually drew this one up as a comic a decade or two ago, but unfortunately it was rather crudely executed and in the intervening time I've lost the master copy.

At any rate, double points if the human family is too poor to hire an exterminator and thus kills the mouse family using clever Home Alone style traps.

A pseudo-documentary revealing how Lee Harvey Oswald's existence was faked by a retrocausal rabbit demon. In reality, he was based on a fictional character from the book The Idle Warriors. The cognitive dissonance induced in the author of the book, who now remembered serving alongside Mr. Oswald, in addition to inventing his character entirely, led to his madness.

A sitcom about six former child actors who worked together on a long-running sitcom, who are now all out of show business and having a hard time keeping themselves afloat financially and thus have all moved in together and are sharing the same tiny cheap-ass apartment. Despite the show having gone off the air a decade earlier and having had little contact with each other since, festering resentments have been maintained over minor slights made during filming.

A gritty (in a mocking parodical sort of way) inner-city version of A Christmas Story. The protagonist's desire for a bb gun is made ironic by the fact that in this version they already have a *real* gun that they bring wih them to school. But they desire the bb gun nonetheless

This is kind of an obvious one but here goes. A TV show with a "psychic" who "contacts" people's dead relatives and as often as not tells the people that their relatives are in Hell or that they walk the earth as a restless spirit. The specifics of why they are in Hell will be determined based on a combination of what the pre-show background checks determine is plausible combined with what moral code we want to manipulate the audience into following.

A horror film or novel based loosely on the obscure urban legend that the Titanic was sunk due to a mummy's curse. Throughout most of the film the spirit of the mummy goes forth and causes trouble as a ghost shaped like an albatross with a human head and creates the circumstances leading to the iceberg impact, but in the end the mummy itself animates and restrains it's victim from fleeing the sinking ship.

A sensationalist biopic about crackpot polygraph researcher Cleve Backster, who notoriously theorized that plants posess the power of telepathy. The film will include several scenes similar to the interrogation scenes in Star Wars 7 but with the notable exception that instead of a political prisoner being psychically interrogated, Backster will be interrogating a potted house plant.

On christmas eve a greedy miser is shown a vision of how much happier everyone would be without him by an angel who is trying to finally earn his flaming sword of divine retribution.
