Gabriela Kulka - Królestwo i Pół

It took me quite a while to get into this track since the chugging, synthetic, bowed strings at the beginning felt as silly as they were catchy, but when I finally absorbed the whole song I went mad over it. It's a shame I can't speak Polish, but if her songs with English lyrics are anything to go by, it's probably highly imaginative and well thought-out.

Ha, When someone does something because they just HAVE to, it's generally something pretty remarkable.  It'll have to take a few listens to acclimate my ear--but thanks  :) .

Through me the way to the city of woe, Through me the way to everlasting pain, Through me the way among the lost.
Justice moved my maker on high.
Divine power made me, Wisdom supreme, and Primal love.
Before me nothing was but things eternal, and eternal I endure.
Abandon all hope, you who enter here.

Mr. Douglas has incredible skills on the dobro, probably equal to Bela Fleck's skills on the banjo, Victor Wooten's skills on the bass, and Future Man's skills at... well, the dude's so bad ass he created and mastered the fucking DRUMITAR. Oh yeah, the sax man isn't half bad, either. Tell me what you think:

Oh, and have a look at this one, too, just for the Tuvan throat singing at the beginning (simultaneous production of two different pitches=BAD ASS)

Tuvan throat singing?  What the fuck?  Who the fuck listens to that?  Not even the fucking Tuvans, that's who.

There's nothing funnier than a pair of pretentious fuckweasels trying to out-esoteric each other.
