Fair enough, but even then, my opinion of the A-bomb would most likely be different if I had built one than what my opinion is now. Being inside it will give me a different viewpoint. Whether or not that makes a more or less developed or accurate opinion is arguable, and for the sake of this conversation, doesn't matter. The only thing I was trying to say was that involvement in something will have a different effect on opinion. I never said that people that don't write music have a no place having an opinion on, or appreciating music, but it will be on a (at least slightly) different plane (at least in most cases).

Question is if you had built an A-bomb and was talking to some one who was subjected to an A-Bomb would you say "Have you built an A-bomb? If not shut up!"

I never told anyone to shut up. I was simply trying to understand where this gentleman was speaking from, first hand experience or second hand experience. Whether or not you want to accept it, or whether or not it's a noticeable difference, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. Jeez.

I've played guitar for nearly 14 years now, classical guitar for 7+ years, played several parlor concerts for money and gotten good tips. I've also written music and published an album through Jamendo. And while I'm still horribly underqualified, I'll listen.

This is punk no? Punk and metal? It should have me thrashing at the end if it really gets me deeply, but it just makes me feel apathetic, emphasis on pathetic. Because it IS pathetic. The lyrics are far from sublime and the whole thing sound generic. No passion, man, no passion.
