I leave myself online and logged in almost all the time, including all this weekend when I wasn't even in town.

My guess is that a lot of people leave the page open and wander off to do stuff, which would make it look like there were a lot of lurkers when really they're just idle.

Personally, I'm busy having one of the best summers I've had for years, and I don't feel in the slightest bit guilty about going out and having a shit ton of fun instead of posting on an internet message board. I hope that's what everyone else is doing, too.

Can't.  "Summer" here translates out to "A nice June day on Mercury".

It's just now becoming bearable out there, and by "bearable", I mean, "only sweaty, not dead of dehydration".

So you're going to be out having fun and living it up when I'm home, bored, and trapped by nasty frozen crap falling out of the sky.

True.  The only frozen thing that drops out of the sky here happens when aircraft coming into DM AFB release their septic tanks "accidentally".
