Book is a little dry, but the topic is very interesting.  It discusses the possibility of time going from points of high entropy to low entropy, and generally uses your mind as a ping pong ball.  Discuss.  Or Don't.

Guido Finucci

Xeno's paradox of Archilles and the Tortoise has several underlying assumptions that may not be correct:
a) Time is infinitely divisble in a meaningful way.
b) Space is infinitely divisible in a meaningful way.
c) Space-Time behaves in a purely mathematical/deterministic fashion (and consciousness plays no part in determining reality).

The problem with time being linked to entropy is that entropy is only increasing for the Universe as a whole and time changes depending on ones reference frame. This leads to odd results - either time is consistent regardless of reference frame (in which case General Relativity is broken somehow) or time is a local entropic phenomenon, in which case you get younger if you order your immediate environment sufficently well.

Ping Pong is fun though.
