the dreadful hours

January 29, 2013, 02:16:14 AM
i unto the delved too deep
unearth which slept too late
this task unchecked
the box open
hinging on a broken door
clasping the fabric
of
tatters

the fruit spoiled
the echoes aloft
homeless

i lent the last ear
all those months ago
at the apex of the joining
now
the full failure
