I don't hate anything...well I hate it when people refuse to listen to other points of view or try and learn something that will improve how they interact with others.  My wife makes me happy, just seeing her makes me happy.  My cat makes me happy.  Not waking up one day would make me happy, aside from the fact that I wouldn't realize it.

I think you accidentally just hit on exactly the reason why hating is so glorified on this board.


Apathy and "Think for yourself, schmuck!" are diametrically opposed.

Indifference and apathy are what is going to get you, your rights and your freedom all trampled over and stomped upon.

If you dislike something, dislike it with a passion. A passion we call "hate".

Pretending that it does not matter to you or you don't care is just going to leave you with a vague sense of background discomfort and uneasyness. Undirected, untargeted and unfocused. Which is just the way the CoN likes it, fertile ground to exert its control.


(i realize this thread is somewhat tongue-in-cheek and I may be taking this way too serious, but I also wrote it down to get people's reactions, I wonder if I got this right. it's also an example of not practicing what I preach, I'm not that hateful myself either, I got some bars in my prison for that :)/:(, but this is my understanding of the hateful mindset, aka what the deal is with "hating everything")
